Never caused a problem with my 3, had it for a few years. I did once have to get something out of the port on the 3s which was preventing itunes from seeing it though (charged fine.)
If you're that worried, cover the hole on the smaller case with electrical tape. One piece bigger than the hole...
There is a nice little program GPSBabel to get from kml to gpx quickly. I also prefer the full Google Earth to the maps.google website, but that might just be because I use it for other things.
I'm thinking it would be neater to work in waypoints when the destination device has maps, you only...
I use the one called Disconnect, includes a cute little icon so you can see how much it blocks.
Link is for the Chrome version, though I hear there are others.
Why buy new?
There are plenty of good used bikes around, especially if you aren't picky about esthetics.
The 650R is a great choice. I loved mine till I upgraded, now it sits sadly and waits to get prepped for sale.
I remember thinking similar questions many moons ago after a 0% fault claim.
The short answer is that your insurance rate has nothing to do with how much you have put in, or taken out of some mythical kitty in the past. The fact that you have made a claim, statistically speaking, says that you...
I agree.
I thought it was illegal for years until I actually dug into the HTA looking for it. I'll bet there have been some tickets for it too, but only after it results in a collision.

Especially fun if you know the track from the Gran Turismo series

I see the same situation at 400 north to highway 7 and 401 west to dixie, difference being there are 4 lanes, 2 per turn. I avoid being beside anything while turning with the expectation that most are going to mess it up.
Even when the ramps are paved with huge curves the trucks seem to take...
Both the UVIP and ownership can be obtained today at a service ontario counter, most appear to be open till 1pm on Saturdays but closed on Sundays.

Kahuna has a few different sized 'kits' with those and a nice selection of other special fasteners for bikes.
Slightly overpriced, but they do nicely match the existing bits.
I've seen two ways to mitigate track swapping risk:
1. For a lane change, riders 1,3,5 make the short change and evens change from outer track to outer after they see the riders behind and in front of them are stable.
2. Without a lane change, riders who find themselves in the right hand track...
So it turns out that turning your gps on and off all the time to get the music playing at regular speed instead of double speed affects the accuracy of your trip measuring, who knew?
Agreed on the traffic, but all ended well, so I won't complain, much.
When the engine starts to get unhappy about going too slow in 2nd, clutch in, shift to first.
At this point I agree that it probably isn't worth trying to rev match and continue engine braking. But as MadPoet said, you should be ready to gtfo; if you do the above you are prepared to stop...
They seem to be discouraging it by squeezing down the lanes, but as others have said, looks legal.
In addition to the pedestrians and eastbound cross-traffic, be wary of northbound traffic turning right-on-red and going wide, they might be focused on getting to the left lane about to open up...
I would renew it if I was you.
I was told a few years ago (perhaps incorrectly) that I would need one if my flight was planned to cross into American airspace on account of the possibility of an emergency landing or re-routing. Dubious perhaps, but what if?
The one at Airport and Steeles indicates death was pronounced the next day, so we know that limitation is out.
I don't consider it all that helpful, perhaps mildly interesting. I think Insurance write-offs for where vehicles are most prone to getting destroyed in crashes would be much more...
