Usually those are the ones left without a buyer come the end of the season.
They'll have to drop their prices eventually to reflect the real market value or else be stuck with it forever.
Usually it's something that happens at high RPM's from worn shift forks, but how to replicate it will vary depending on the bike.
I would read up more on forums dedicated to the specific bike you're looking at to go over a checklist of what you need to check out.
That is sound advice. Money...
I just finished my M1X class and upgraded to my M2 license beginning of this month. Mine says GM2.
If you did your M2X test then it should show M on your license once you are upgraded.
Check out the transmission and make sure it's shifting properly (ie. not popping out of second gear). Might be a bit harder to determine since a lot of ads specify no test riders.
Re: What is wrong with you people?
Even older ones too are prone to that. I've seen used 636's going for anywhere from $6000-7000 with around 20000-30000+km's on the clock. There even was one guy asking $7600.
There are a few historical places in and around the Old Mill and Humber Bridge on the west end. The R.C. Harris Water Treatment plant in the east end is also quite unique.
