I have carbs and I NEVER winterize my bike. Never had issues. The best part is that you can ride it any day during the winter season when we get 'off weathers' like the rain washes off the salt. I ride my bike as long as there's no snow/below or significant salt on the ground. Sent from...

Get the jug from crappy tire.. Soak for 3 mins and start brushing away.. you when you're done, store it again and reuse it to clean other greasy stuff you want to get clean.. like your rims, car's engine bar.. engines bottom end.. greasy micro fibre towels you want to reuse.. your kitchen...

Bike looks great dude! Did you manage to make the bike idle with the custom exhaust? Or is the exhaust made for the cb550 stock carb set up

I called my insurance and asked to get a quote by vin on the mc17. They had so many clauses for them to insure it. 1. M for at least 6 years. 2. 5 Star with the company. 3. over 30 years old. 4. No tickets (I have 1 minor infraction).

Ahh that's true. I forgot to take into account that production year and which country it was available to. But im sure ebay always has an answer ;)

Dont worry about parts, more like insurance. I have a 1974 cb550 and I can get any parts I need to maintain my bike.
