The CRF250L is a street legal bike, I have one. I don't like to make recommendation's about bikes as owners are usually biased, but I like mine.

The Crf230l has been discontinued, the bike had been replaced by the CRF250l which actually has a lower MSRP and is much more modern and capable.

People still claim to be able to do it, but I personally wouldn't buy the bike unless I was sure. I just bought a CRF250L, it's nowhere as competent off road as the X. If you want a hardcore offroad bike the L is not for you. I bought mine for gravel roads, not off road. it's a brand new model...

That's not quite right, on the rail trails, you can't fit a UTV between the gates, at each road intersection, but you can use a UTV on rest of their trails. Just have to stay off the roads.

I agree all vehicles, cars with loud exhaust is a year round problem, bikes mostly summer.

As most legal atv trails are well north of Toronto, most municipalities pass bylaws so you can ride them on the road. A lot of trails are connected by roads so this great. However you cannot operate an atv with a passenger on any road nor can you operate utv on a road passenger or no passenger...

The Motogp bikes continue to be manually shifted, I don't think they will be going over to full auto's anytime soon.
