NO! Yami test rides are tomorrow at Snow City... Mother nature is going to have to wait until at least noon lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where do you store your... takeout?

I usually carry all my stuff in a water resistant duffle bag that is strapped down with bungie cords to the tail. Total cost was around $30 and everything stays dry (and upright if I need it to be), even in heavy rain and wind. It is also bright yellow so that adds to the visibility of the bike.

    Handlebar mount for 250 ninja

There are a ton of mounts available for bikes, you just have to look harder. Have you visited any stores, or are you just looking at pictures on different forums? Check out GPScity.ca. It's a Canadian store and they will have just about everything there to mount a phone or GPS to your bike. And...

    Markham Powersport Demo day

Yep. It was good. Bikes got booked pretty fast. I was the second one on the CBR 500R. It felt like a very nice bike. I don't have much to compare it to, but it was comfortable with a good amount of power. And Durham Police decided to plant a cruiser on the demo route. Luckily we ran into a...

    Hyosung GT650R?

Brake horsepower, which is the amount of horsepower at the wheel instead of the engine (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). And to answer the op's question, insurance of a 650 vs. a 250 + difficulty of getting replacement parts + harder to resell is what keeps most people away from Hyosung...

    Sooooo JEALOUS!

lol some of us like skin, others like to take the risk. You can get mesh, textile, or perforated leather jackets as well to stay cool. The only time you get hot is if you are stuck in traffic. Not trying to sound like a gear nazi or anything, but just keep in mind that if you fall with only a...

    Sunnybrook hospital parking

Yeah I think it is F wing. Saw a bike back there a couple of weeks ago. I just wasn't sure if anything had changed. Nobody in the parking office seemed to know about this though, but they did say parking would be free as long as I'm not taking up a spot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ninja 250 to a 600cc SS

Suspension is like butter, but that is an old problem that many have solved. DIY's are everywhere online. It's a very forgiving bike built for noobs. OP, keep the ninja and take some track courses. Or spend a day in the upper Kawartha/Haliburton area. Lots of roads up there to get comfy with...

    Sunnybrook hospital parking

I know this is a few years old, but has anything changed? Would it be a bad idea to leave a bike there overnight? Thanks! Tim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are ebay Chinese key blanks good to use?

There is actually plenty of space on that key for a small transponder chip. Take it to a locksmith that cuts automotive keys. If they are nice, they will test the key in a cloning machine to see if it has a chip or not. Takes 2 seconds.

    Riding gear.

I believe the verdict of last year's thread like this was bicycle cable lock through the sleeves. Make sure you don't leave anything important in the pockets.

Are ebay Chinese key blanks good to use?

It should either start or not start. That is what happens 99% of the time with cars. It's a very popular and affordable bike, so I highly doubt it would have a sophisticated enough immobilizer system that would be able to put it in limp mode.

Let the City know what you want to do about e-bikes - official survey

I agree with everything but the licensing part. It is too easy to cheat for your pleasure craft operator card, and these are vehicles that are in use everyday on the roadways which effects a lot more people than a boat on a lake. We need a tougher licensing system that will actually teach these...

Are ebay Chinese key blanks good to use?

Lol how did I miss this thread earlier. I love keys. That being said, not all keys are the same (different grades of metal, some are forged, some are cast, etc...). What usually wears the key out is an improper cut (or a dirty lock, but that's a different story). An improperly cut key will...

Let the City know what you want to do about e-bikes - official survey

Judging by the way everybody was driving today, the person could have been going with the flow of traffic lol And a few years ago, I had a conversation with a customer that had an e-bike. Apparently, the mod to make them go faster is very simple. Not sure about the full details, but he made it...

    Best 12 Volt Adaptor?

$30 for shipping... That's a little rough. If you look at the bottom of page 371 and 372 in the new Royal Dist. catalogues, Optimate makes sockets and other stuff too that all plug into SAE connectors, and they are around the same price from a Canadian retailer (almost unheard of, right?). Just...

    Beginner bike?

401, usually anywhere between 400 and morningside at no specific time. If you stay in the inside collectors and actually pay attention to the cars you are passing, yeah most people drive at or under 100. Yes, some people do stick to 120+ (the smarter ones imo, since it is a HIGHWAY) and actually...

    Beginner bike?

I was fine with a cbr 125 on the highway (6'1", lightweight 160 lbs), and am only on a ninja 250 now because it was given to me. The 250 is a bit more comfortable and can go quite a bit faster, but the 125 was fine going steady at 110-120kph. Gotta remember that the speed limit is only 100kph...

    Another Insurance Thread

A crashed ninja 250 ;) lol State farm is good. Rates there for me were half of what it was with Jevco. I started riding at 26 and had my full G for 8 years, no accidents or tickets. They wouldn't touch my car though. Apparently they only like high risk drivers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
