I was on my home from work and in slow traffic. I woman yelled over at me - hay nice bike. I'm just on a rebel, she said would you be willing to sell it. I laugh and say are you for real. Back and forth - I end up pulling over and getting her contact info. That show cracks me up -- I have to...
So - any feedback! I threw my cover over my bike and it melted to my pipes. Did the Easy Off oven cleaner work. I don't want to scratch it. I should add that I have gone out on it since so it's a real nice brownish caked on spot. Ug!
Re: Switching to Reserve
also,, does your bike have a choke...? It is important to set correctly to ensure the engine won't stumble ..
what does your manual say about the reserve valve? the choke?
My bike has a choke - Honda rebel, if I don't let the bike warm up - it sputters. Actually I...
I like the dark wood chips! Im on a cruiser and the spin move isn't that great for me. Although I love that adea. Lot width id 15 feet with a foot and a half side walk. I'll put up a pic when the dam snow melts. As for paving for a parking pad - I doubt I could. I think you have to get 60%...
I don't have a drive way so what I have done is dig a ramp into my yard. I ride my bike up into my yard and do a 3 point turn to face forward. In doing this - I have killed my lawn. It looks like a dirt pit now. Anyone have a suggestion on what I could plant that may be able to handle being...
Love the different options for me to look at. And it's true, shouldn't take too long to get use to the difference in size/power. Logic says - take it around the hood to get use to it.
Thank you for the ideas and encouragment. Can't wait to be able to go further and further!
I do like cruisers but I have to say the Ducati Monster has caught my eye. There is one that parks near me at work and I have had to clean my drool off it a few times.
Just wanted to see what bike you moved up to after your honda rebel. I love my rebel, I have been looking at many many bikes to move up to but none have given that Wow. Actually all roads keep leading to the HD Iron. But I fear that it's too much of a jump. I thought I would move up to a 650...
Im 5'3 and im on a honda rebel - I can touch down great on it. I was at the bike show and was able to sit on many different bikes. Honda rs and phantom were too tall. Harley Iron 883 and superlow were actualy a good fit. I would like a lighter weight bike. Don't have much input on sport bikes.
