Finally getting started (East York, Honda VF750F) - advice welcome!

Welcome fellow East Yorker! I can recommend Learning Curves for getting your license. You can take a peak at them on Sat/Sun. Do you know the movie theater on Queen just east of Coxwell. Behind there is Eastern Ave and you will see a parking lot with some bins set up in the corner. This is...

M2 Exit Test - for full M license - what to expect?

If you have been riding - it's no problem. It's a cake walk. And for those who haven't, well they will pass too. Everyone in my group had waited till they got their 5 year noticed. One borrowed a bike to take the test. One guy rented one off of kijjiji. They both passed. Look around at...

    Got rear ended yesterday.

I have watched enough judge judy to know, take the insurance route. A dude telling me "oh give me the quote and I'll pay the bill" is a load! Good to hear ZX600, it didn't take too long. I hope the same goes for me. I'll post if it's fixable or if I'm on the hunt for a new bike.

    Got rear ended yesterday.

Bootin around yesterday and came to a stop at a red light. I was in the right curb lane. The car in the left lane was turning, as he turned through the red the guy behind him decided to try and blow through. Came over into my lane and hit me from behind. I had no defence, never even saw him in...

Learning curves (Markham M2 exit test)

I did M1 Exit, street smart and M2 Exit with LC. Loved em! Had a great time and the intructors are there for you. Don't be shy. If you are unsure of something - Ask them. Thats what you pay for. They are there to help you pass. Enjoy and have fun!

PAN-AM HOV lanes on DVP and Gardiner

I don't know why city hall doesn't consider a road toll fee for 905. They don't Vote here so it doesn't matter if they piss them off. All it would do is improve the services for the 416 and put some ease on our pocket book. And set it up vice versa - If I'm bootin around Ajax or Hamilton (maybe...

PAN-AM HOV lanes on DVP and Gardiner

They are great for some. But the HOV does cause traffic chaos for the other two non HOV lanes. The only way I would support the HOV lanes staying is if they added another lane for non HOV. In the city of Toronto, you can't have 3 lanes of traffic reduced to two. Sure it's great for the peeps in...

Motorcycle Parking Fee 2015 – Response Coordination Thread

This is a good idea. It could be a fee that gets tacked on when you renew your plate sticker. I'd rather pay that!

Looking for Moto Safety Volunteers for the Ride to Conquer Cancer!

As my Dad has terminal prostate cancer - I don't give a s*** if only 5 bucks goes to the cause. What these charities have done for my father is beyond my imagination. Paying fully for the drugs he can't afford. Without this medication he would not have the quality of life. And it all started...
