i think its about your environment. whats the bigger threat? people or road conditions? to me, as a city rider, its people. learning how the traffic flows is the biggest thing. road awareness take priority over technique. for me its, a mental chess match not an athletic competition. if...

i think road experience is important. car has a safety cage so its better to learn in. the more people you're around is the more danger there is.
