I think it's been established that some (if not most) motorcycles do not sufficiently charge a battery at idle with all the electrics running (headlight, taillight, running lights, etc.). If the battery is not charging while riding, then you have a problem.

Lemon pledged the tank and side panels... looks great... too bad the weather sucks!

I commute from Hamilton to North York every day, 186 km round trip + frequent day trips while at work = VERY EXPENSIVE !! Seriously considering a hybrid.

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? Yeah, not worth it. Silly laws. My recommendation to Macs is to NOT insert that mag until he's re-pinned it. In fact, I would put the mag in a plastic bag and label it "defective" and "not to install on SKS until re-pinned".

I had a similar problem, until I realized I was idling it too much, and the headlight, running lights, tail light, plate light where draining the battery. Most motorcycles don't recharge a battery a low idle with so much electrics turned on.

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? Yeah, we do the same. I actually bought him a sweet little Daisy "Powerline" single shot bb pistol. Not enough power to cause any damage... though we make a habit of wearing eye protection! His first shot and a bb hit him square in the forehead :) Here...

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? I bought both the 32-round Promag and the steel lips Buttler Creek 25-rounder. The BC jammed constantly, like every 2nd or 3rd shot. No matter what I did with it, it just wouldn't work. The Promag has been nearly flawless with only an occasional jam here...

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? Edit: All of my non-restricted long guns are either stored in a 10-gun "Stack-On" brand locking cabinet (with all the bolts removed and locked in a separate sealed container, with a padlock, I might add!), or leaned up against a wall with trigger locks...
