    Wood Stove Install - recommendations?

Yea, I should mention - yes I have the old stove, and there's a hole in the wall, the floor for where it's supposed to stand is ceramic (maybe? It's tiled). There's also a rudimentary little outlet chimney. This is all on my one room addition at the back of my place that is used as the living...

    Wood Stove Install - recommendations?

Previous owner had one in there, I like the look/smell of them and always wanted one in the home. Wanting to at least get an estimate of how much of a pain it will be to have one. The room that it's in gets really cold, so it would be a great way to heat it.

    Wood Stove Install - recommendations?

Yes, will definitely be WETT certified, need whoever is going to be doing it to do that. I'm in East end of Toronto, so Caledon might be far. Thanks for the suggestion though.

    The "Sag" look

The beauty of the recent (still?) recession is the 'sale' mentality that's been beaten into consumers. Retailers are having a hard time pushing items at full pop. You can find some good stuff on sale at the Winners of the world, but also at high end stores because it's all on sale sooner or...

    Cuts to CBC: YAY!

When they're all owned by different corporations, how much variance are you really getting? My shot at Global and 680 is basically my biggest problem with news today. I read it in the Sun in the morning (hypothetically), listen to the SAME story on 680. Evening news Global has the SAME story...

    Cuts to CBC: YAY!

You must love Global News and CTV. And 680. I'm happy and proud to pay for CBC broadcasting. I think they're news is outstanding, on in my car daily. They're radio shows are informative and topical. Just outstanding. There is an arguement to be made for supporting national broadcasters...

Cutting Your Exhaust Pros & Cons??

Do whatever you want - one piece of advice. You can always go shorter, but not the other way around. So don't be too generous with how much you are cutting off, you might regret it.

I wonder how long this insanity will last....

I get riled up by people like paul1000 because they just don't get that one part and paint everyone with one brush. Again, like ZX said, people DO their research. Lots of people do. They take a risk. At the end of the day, they buy something that they fall in love with, and if they're smart...
