Bike vs Bike Head on Mulholland.

Absolutely, the safest way through a blind corner is to turn in as late as possible. I notice lots of riders have a habit of entering turns too early. Tends to make you run wide on exits and it's dangerous to ride the line for obvious reasons. That had to freaking hurt, but much better to hit a...

New Honda CBR1000RR spotted during testing

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/2016/september/new-honda-fireblade-revealed/ Looks like they pretty much copied the styling from the Panigale and R1. If it doesn't have 180+whp will the new electronics be enough for it to compete against its rivals?

Man without garage buys electric car, then complains about charging

I can't find a free place anywhere in Toronto to park for even 5 minutes. Where in the world is the city going to find space for charging stations? The cars need to be parked for a while to charge. I guess they expect those to be free to use as well? This guy got a $12500 tax credit for buying...

    Dead bike :(

That's shameful for a company like Honda. All manufacturers are trying to design and build these "learner" bikes way too cheaply. Just because it's a 125/250/300 doesn't mean they shouldn't deliver a reliable machine. Time to dust off the 25 year old 250cc and 400cc designs from engineers who...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Yeah that Corbin seat was an overpriced and ugly POS. Totally ruins the lines of the bike. The standard Hawk seat is already quite comfortable unless you weigh 250+ pounds. That's the least of this bikes problems. How can a bike with mismatched tank and bodywork colours be described as "mint"? I...

    Come Ride With Us 2016?

I was wondering about that too and didn't see anything posted for this year. Hope they do it again next year, the gymkhana event looked fun.

    JDM bike dealers

There are none in Ontario anymore. You are stuck with trying to find somebody selling one privately or importing one yourself. I know somebody with a CBR250RR that he doesn't ride or have insurance on at the moment. Not sure if he would sell it though. I have a project VFR400 I'm debating...

    Dyno Results - CBR1000rr

Why would a shop tune a street bike for only top end power? Seems stupid even for a track only bike. That new graph looks much better. My bike is actually at Champion right now waiting for some engine work then it's going on their dyno.

    Ordering parts from UK

I do sometimes . Yes there are taxes and duties except when you use Royal Mail I think. I find DHL and FedEx are good for lower fees as well. Avoid UPS though if you can as they have the highest fees.

    What's for dinner?

Some BBQ from the long weekend. Seared the ribs with a dry rub then smoked for 6 hours with applewood chips and charcoal. The 6 pound pork shoulder was left in apple juice, applecider vinegar, worcestershire sauce, salt and brown sugar overnight for 12 hours. Seared with a dry rub then...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Wow he was clearly not paying attention at all. Just cruising with his left hand on his leg trying to look cool. Dude should quit riding, straight up. That's in my neck of the woods too. I love how the meathead gets annoyed at the lady for just driving normally. Not sure what I was expecting...

Bike magazine: Honda to drop the CBR600?

Not surprised, all the squids want their big bore superbikes and the younger riders are stuck on small bikes for insurance reasons. Honda should revive the 400cc class of racing inspired bikes and nobody will miss the 600. Could kill off the CBR300/500 (not the CB300/500) while they're at it...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

It will be 30 years old next year. That's vintage insurance and "sport bike" blacklisting shouldn't apply, right? I'm sure in 15 years when a lot of 150hp liter bikes are considered vintage they will still find a way to screw owners around on premiums. They will come up with "blacklisted vintage...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

If that bike makes 50hp (or has a titanium header for that matter) I will eat my hat. The most inline-4 CBR250's ever made was 45hp at the crank (supposedly) and later versions were restricted to 40hp. Most other insurance companies will insure grey market sport bikes so shop around if you want...
