I synced the carbs on my Ex500, but that was a 2 cylinder bike. My carb sync tool was built out of 2 ice tea bottles, some water, and 1/4" rubber hose, and some stoppers. Total cost, $2.50. Carb syncing was easy on that bike, just a matter of running the bike and adjusting the screw until the...

Probably need to clean the carbs, in my experience, untreated fuel when left to sit will gum up rather quickly. Could also check your idle adjustment to be sure its set appropriately.

Finally made the jump to supersport! My new (to me) R6. Need a bunch of smaller stuff for it (stands, spools, bar ends, tank stickers, alarm system, etc)...let me know of any decent one stop shops...if they exist. Also considering a speedohealer since the sprocket/chain setup reads speeds...

So you're technically thorough and competent advice is to only make sure he blows out the cavity before removing the plugs?!? Sounds like you're missing a few steps yourself.

$66 permonth isn't bad for a new rider and a ninja 250. It will go down continuously as you get more experience.

Apparently, I am required on certain bikes to have an alarm before I activate theft coverage. Can anyone recommend (preferably cheap) a model and where to buy? I'm just looking to satisfy insurance coverage, my bike is garage kept or in sight nearly all the time.

License suspension at the very least. That's just my opinion. I tend to think when negligence causes death, your typically HTA fines arent appropriate.

I was in there yesterday getting a safety....he spent 30 minutes with me talking about helmets. I'll be going there again soon for a replacement, mine is currently the wrong shape. Haven't dealth with him before yesterday, but seems like a very stand up guy.

I am planning on some advanced riding courses next year and although I won't be racing, I am looking for a tire that can keep up with the progression I make. I also am looking for durability as well, since my budget for motorcycle stuff has been reduced lately (now I have a 7 month old son).
