    EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 4pm

Re: EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 5pm Highly depends on which rounds you are talking about, 22LR is cheap, 50BMG is not. There will not be a C8 there to shoot, nor do I ever expect a fully automatic firearm to ever be at this type of event. in the past, members of the Canadian...

    EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 4pm

We don't have an advanced list of guns but I think its safe to say you will see the usual suspects there. Lots of ARs, SKS's, 10/22s and a whole variety of handguns. I can almost guarantee both a 50 cal handgun and 50BMG rifle as well as those are typically the crowd pleasers. Having said...

    EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 4pm

EESA gun club open house - June 7/8 9am - 5pm Details substantially similar to prior years, though there may be some increases in ticket prices (ammo has been insane the past 12 months). All are welcome with the exception of anyone subject to a firearms or weapons prohibition order. Look...

EESA Gun Club Open House - June 8th & 9th GUNS, GUNS, GIRLS AND MORE GUNS!!!

Unfortunately, its highly unlikely. This event is run solely by volunteers whose time is already stretched. I can't imagine there being any appetite to do this twice a year. We have in the past done small ones for smaller groups (of around 20 or so). If there is any interest, the organizer...

EESA Gun Club Open House - June 8th & 9th GUNS, GUNS, GIRLS AND MORE GUNS!!!

Thank you to all those who came out and supported this event. We hope you guys all had a great time. Unfortunately, we couldn't get our hands on some of the more interesting guns and ammo supply was a real problem this year (resulting from the termoil in the US). Preliminary numbers are still...

    Am I asking to much?

D'oH! I'll hang onto it for a couple months and see what happens. Thanks for the perspective guys.

    Am I asking to much?

In terms of prime buying season, when is it? I would expect April and May to be big months.

    Am I asking to much?

Asking $6k for a 2004 Yamaha R6 with 8,500km and new tires. As is, but needs nothing...some small upgrades. based on other R6s, price seems fair. What do you think?

Oil change: pre-winter or post winter?

Maybe you can dispel another myth I've heard....that leaving oil in a bike (after a fresh oil change) all winter and then starting it up in the spring stirs up all kinds of **** that can (unlikely) damage the engine.

Oil change: pre-winter or post winter?

I've heard recommendations for each, is this a preferential thing? I've kinda been of the opinion that it doesn't make sense to change the oil before storage since its just gonna break down over winter anyways. Thoughts?

Rider down: Weber (Near King) Waterloo

Just drove past a crashed bike, a green ZX6R by the looks of it. No sign of the rider, police on scene. Hope you're ok.

    Bike 1 Car 0

I really don't understand why car drivers get so upetity about it....99.9% of the bike, a a bike at the front of the line is gone before your car ever gets into second geear.

This is what it's like to be shot at with an AK-47

Might of been a different story with steel core ammo. I think that video would of ended differently.

My club processes ATTs in less than a week....actually, my last one expired just before a match I was hosting and I had a new one the next day. Helps to know the ATT person at your club. Transfer times from what I read are the worst in Quebec. A restricted rifle transfer in Quebec can take...

I'm not sure if this repsonse is directed towards me, but you're not telling me anything I don't already know. I'm convinced the battle will have to goto court, which I will be prepared to do. All I need from the CFO is written denial and the grounds on which they refuse to issue me an ATT.

I have a LTATT for all approved ranges in ONtario long before I shot competitively. the standard ATT issued through a gun club is the one which covers all ranges in Ontario. I've been a member of multiple clubs and this has always been the case. You don't need to shoot competitively, or be a...

    Handgun opinions

One of these days I'm going to seek a LTATT without doing it through a club. I see nowhere in the law where club membership is required and I believe I can challenge the CFO in court on this....and win.

IIRC, you can't just lend a restricted to a friend, it has to go through the CFO. I know you can store restricteds at a friends place, even if they don't have their RPALs (they can't have access to the trigger locks though). It's possible to have the CFO change the storage address of a...

You're overthinking it IMO.....I've been all over the province with my handguns...never once been pulled over. And I certainly wouldn't be worried if I was, I know my rights and I know the laws.
