Re: Where you guys buy your gears?
I was up at gpbikes and royal a few weeks ago and they have a good selection. I've had good luck with ebay, kijiji and the for sale forum here. Anything but helmets are fair game used as far as I'm concerned.
There's Sturgess cycle in Hamilton, or if you...
Use a kitchen garbage bag as a liner. you night want to throw some sandwich or medium freezer bags in there too. Great place to stick your wallet/phone/mp3 player/camera if you think you might get caught in the rain.
ViperZ link gives some great tips, exaggerate your head movements, they can't see you looking out the corning of your eye's so make sure you turn your head when going shoulder checks and such.
I also asked the Drive Tester ahead of time what was "acceptable" for my speed on the highway portion...
Congrats on your new ride. Post up in a few weeks of riding what you think of her in general and over the 125. I went from a 600 katana to a vfr800 so I always wonder how much fun these smaller and lighter bikes would be in the twisties.
Sounds like he either didn't rivet the master link correctly or he used a clip and it wasn't on right. Inspect the chain and see if the master link is still there and which type it was.
Your lucky it happened when it did, at highway speeds if it wrapped around the swingarm and wheel you'd be toast.
Show up with the current paperwork and if possible a statement from the Ins company saying the car is and was insured on that date. That I would hope would be enough to get the charges tossed out.
If not she'll just end up with the the lesser charge of not having the slip present vs not having...

That marker is dead simple to take care of. Just make sure you be careful of the trigger springs when...
Get some current quotes for insurance before you make a decision. Lower the bar on your choice of bike if need be. Insurance too high on a super sport, look into a standard or naked bike etc etc.
6k/yr for an 08 fusion? damn it's post like that that scare the hell out of me for what my son is...
There's tons on ebay, jc whitney out of the US sells some http://www.jcwhitney.com/motorcycle-travel-trunks/p2010969.jcwx .
Hit some of the big touring forums and you'd probably find some good reviews on quality on these cheaper cases.
I went from an 03 kat 600 to an 06 vfr 800 for the 2010 season. Coming from the Kat your going from a heavy bike to a slightly heavier one, your not going to to notice the difference like someone changing from a SS.
The only regret I have is not finding a vfr that had the hard bags, I have...
Do yourself a favour. Tie one on and record the results, then test yourself again when you wake up in the morning and see how high it reads.
One of the guys at work had few too many so he stayed over night at his buddies. Got up in the morning and went to drive home and hit a ride stop. He blew...
You can get extra insurance through CAA or even your bank. I think it was under $30 for me last summer for coverage for a 10 day trip or so.
We had a guy from Quebec auger in on the dragon a few years back. 2 compound fractures plus and assortment of other injuries. His "bill" by the time he...
I've had two seasons on my VFR now and I love it. Great bike, eats up the miles but click down a gear or two and she's a blast in the twisties. My only regret is I didn't get one with hard bags. Finding a cheap set after the fact isn't easy.
I picked up an 06 out of Virginia in Dec 09 for that...
