    Did you exercise today?

impromptu and forced workout...took the wrong bus back home. the sun was in my eyes and the glare was making it impossible to read the bus sign..but my actual bus had just left the previous checkpoint as per the app so i thought i was getting on it. anyways it turned into an impromptu run of...

    Speed camera update (Sept.11)

I'm truly enjoying our conversation here as it's bringing some good points (i find) on either sides. The laws that are in place punish the many because of the few that would abuse the freedom of a lawless, anarchic or even libertarian system. The stop signs hinders freedom of travel, some...

    Speed camera update (Sept.11)

I think you're onto something here. It makes the most money where it's the most needed. 🙃 Bingo. If it wasn't needed, it wouldnt make any money. But clearly there are a few gaps between road design, enforcement, and driver behaviour

    Speed camera update (Sept.11)

But that's what laws are generally speaking. The whole premise of the police force is based on group punishment aka law enforcement. Otherwise we'd be able to just have social workers telling us to be better and improve ourselves amirite ;) ;) ;) There's a time and place to speed. Peopple are...

    Speed camera update (Sept.11)

The lack of respect for the speed limits? We have a residential street close perpendicular to mine that runs parallel to lakeshore road.. anytime the highway got backed up, lakeshore would get jammed, and people would start using this sidestreet to get where they need to get to. Thing is...

    Speed camera update (Sept.11)

people live on that street. people walk out as well from the side streets, the physics don't change. If volume increases as speed increases, you get more cars waiting in between at lights no? As speed decreases volume drops, less cars will travel on that road and choose alternate routes. In the...

    Speed camera update (Sept.11)

Physics. Getting hit at 60 has very low survivability vs getting hit at 40 which has a higher chance of survivability. It's road along one of the biggest parks in the city. People are going to cross. As soon as we add traffic lights, the gains made at a higher speed in each stretch of road...

    Speed camera update (Sept.11)

Anyhow seems like theyre adding speed bumps https://www.toronto.ca/community-people/get-involved/public-consultations/infrastructure-projects/parkside-drive-study/ And i don't see how decreasing speeds by 10-20km/h over 1.8km (esp when there are traffic lights) is going to affect someones...

i got the Osmo Action 3 for $280ish in february and love it. Using it 98% of the time as a dashcam and the rest for other fun things So i dont think you can go wrong with the 4 unless you want better low light (which the 5 pro has)

    Insta360

true that insta360 might be not great for customer service but i heard great things about DJI and the DJI refresh thing which is similarish to gopro, and entitles you to x-number of replacement for y-time period for cameras or drones like privatepilot has...can be quite useful mind you i also...

    Insta360

but don't you want to fly up to 20km and get the omniscient multidirectional low light obstacle abvoidance? honestly good rule of thumb in OPs case, get the most recent model since you need a dashcam anyways (say insta360 x4 ) and then you won't feel the need to upgrade for probably 3-4...
