I beat on my gs500 and if regularily get 350+ to the tank. Taking it easy on the sv1000.... 220 if I'm lucky. I understand ur logic but remember even at idle the big bike will down gasoline at an alarming pace. Bigger pistons (or more) = more rotating mass= more fuel required to move said...
Lol you were very acrobatic getting the service road. I had a great view of the show (right behind you). Hope ur ok, I tried not to look but the cartwheels you were doing looked like so much fun. :)
Watched it a few times. When u transitioned from right to left it sounds like u hit the shifter putting it down a gear. Back end locked and you got flung. Just my opinion.
Don't waste ur money. I used that too. No go. And not the cheapy ct one, the ones dent dr and such use. Plus it "can" wreck your clear coat, but nothing a good dual stage polish cant fix(usually).
Just my .02
Dents are extremely difficult to remove from tanks mainly because of the thickness of the metal. I tried everything I had and ended up the bondo route. FYI I'm a body repair guy at Toyota, nothing we have worked. You could try an old school stud puller but I was nervous welding to the gas...
Generac 3250 genny. Gasoline powered. Dedicated 220 8/3 wire straight to the panel. Continue living like nothing has happened. Obviously won't power ac or hot tub, but no problems running fridge, freezer, furnace etc. depending on draw of course. Worst case cycle them. But full lights...
It's not that hard if you know the proper steps. Pm me if you're serious and want some tips and such. FYI I've built 3 houses going that route. It is alot easier than you think. Mind u there's alot if variables ........
Just sold my street bike as of Tuesday. Once u ride track, Roads get monotonous. A bit sad but can never recreate the felling of the track on the street. And I've tried ....
Out. Racing has destroyed my budget. Another set of sbk pros on the way lol. And everyone in out group is either way faster or way slower than me.
Oh and ps.. I'm only interested in racing other 600cc bikes lol. So my smack talk to randy is all in good fun. :)
Touché my friend... Lmao :) 5 races, 5 qualifying races, and prolly a track day worth of practice and my sbk pros just got flipped. Love those tires. But maybe I'm just slow..... ;)
I may have come across wrong. Lap times don't mean nothing unless ur racing (and even then not really lol). If you're comparing how well tires do its nice to have a baseline of time. ie. at 1:04 the s20s stuck like glue but at 1:04 on a Rosso corsa they were slipping.
Or at 1:04 they were...
