    F1 Thread!!!

I strongly disagree. F1 and moto gp are great because of the sounds thy make, if they were racing around the track at 500 km/hr (overkill I know) silently, I wouldn't even watch. Hey, next race u watch mute the tv..... That electric car racing for ya. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Suit tailoring

I have one of the "cheap suits" from jimmy. 4 years later, 2 moderate crashes and about 50,000 km, I still wear it. He was even nice enough to put me in one of his ads ?. And yes it fit like a glove. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Chain lube and cleaner???

If ur chain is an o ring chain DO NOT use wd-40. It will eat away at the rubber rings. Use kerosene and a brush, it's a lot cheaper than the stuff u buy from moto stores. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Low temps & burst pipes

A friend suggested putting in R40 insulation, but I don't think there is enough space to shove it in there, alternatives/suggestions? Should I cut a bigger hole? Cut a bigger hole and be sure to Insulate properly and fully or I have a feeling you will have this problem again. Sent from my...

    Gas fireplace advice

Great reply thanks. You r right I'm not a gas guy, only basic knowledge. Good to hear insight from a licensed guy. I've had the gas guys run the main line and the "flex connector" goes from said line to the appliance. Not sure if I confused the terminology. I'm not here to argue I was merely...

    Gas fireplace advice

Can u elaborate? I've installed 4 fireplaces in 4 separate houses (my own) and have had 4 different "reputable" gas companies run my lines. Even when I installed my gas range they left the flex line with a shut off and I hooked the rest up. Not rocket science, pipe dope and leak test. So...

    Gas fireplace advice

Check out goemans (sp?). We picked up an insert with beautiful front trim (no mantle) with everything for under 3k. Install yourself and pay a gas fitter to run gas lines(price depends on how many feet of line they run.) Oh btw its a Napoleon. No blower as they are noisy. It even has solid and...

    Clutchless downshifting

Like power shifting in a car..... It's different in the bike world. I always clutch on the way down, never on the way up. Just my 2 cents Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Reasonable budget for racing costs

I've ran 4 rounds of soar on one set of Pirelli sbk pros. They're pretty shot now but I could prolly get one more weekend out of them. At 400 bucks, that's less than 100/weekend on tires. 02 zx6 on pump gas and yes hamburgers and hotdogs, sleep in tent etc etc. if u can afford track days you can...
