I'm facing a similar dilemma, I'd like to take mine to Rosey Toes to have it properly repaired but I'm nervous about riding with a plugged tire on the way there.

I use these with Comply Foam Tips when going on the longer rides. Works like a charm, they completely block out wind noise and the audio is plenty loud even at 30-40% using an ipod classic. Once the helmet is on the buds do not move at all. The remote is a little awkward to use with bulky gloves...

+1 for TD, was expecting to pay over 2500 for my first year of riding on a used 250 and my rate was like 1300 at 21 years of age... Tough to beat that in Brampton.
