I wear a helmet, textile jacket, gauntlet gloves, jeans, and sneakers or hiking boots when I ride for under a couple of hours. If I'm doing more than that I'll wear my Velocity kevlar pants from the group buy... I ought to buy some boots though.

Third year renewal up with TD-MM, and it's yet another increase. 1500 to nearly 1650. 23, 4 years M2 and zero accidents or tickets riding a Ninja 250r in downtown Brampton. Very upset.

Not necessarily true. I slept on my M2 for a year after I got it, and my rates were almost half of what they would have been if I got insured right away. However, most insurance companies do ask if you've ever cancelled your policy, and I can only assume the algorithms they use don't like that..
