sounds like the air box was removed and not re installed properly, Sometimes they do that i would also be checking all the grounds on your bike because it sounds like you have a bad one more than anything.
took some updated pictures the other day when i went for a little blast.

I think the stock clutch in the beemz would hold up a helluva long time there isnt one cheap part on the BMW less the stock cats that seem to like to crack and the horrible vibrations at 4000ish RPM
I have not currently had the bike dyno tuned im going to be taking it in a month or so, Do not go with a BMC as its the same as a K&N less one sheet of filter they are oil baised filters you need a dry flow, These bikes are highly dependant on good consistant air flow.
The Number one best advice i can give you on 929/954 engines is do not use anything but factory air filters. The K&N and BMC race filters are junk and rob tonns of power. Also try and find yourself a set of 954 throttlebodys and injectors they are 2mm larger than the factory 929s the 954...
witch one of my bikes are you wondering about? Your best bet would to be call hindle and ask for sure there piping is very thin almost paper. They are in port hope and always willing to help a customer, provided you are looking a 929 exhaust and not the GSXR as they are on clearance from hindle...

I wouldnt say that, It takes alot of skill to take a high horsepower grudge bike down the track with no wheelie bar sure the race isnt as long but you have to put together a whole lot of stuff in a extremely short amount of time. Im not taking anything away from the road racers they have mad...

Well I have been lurking around the fourms for quite some time now and I thought i would share my Ride. I have been working on this bike close to 3 years now.I ran an 11.01 bone stock on this bike and it has since gone under some serious work. I have rebuilt the entire engine and transmission as...
