    riding school

It rained for last last half of day 1/ first half of day 2 for my course, and I'm thankful for it, it really does teach you more than when completely dry. I also bought my bike at the very end of last season and ride through most of the winter, kept me from being a hooligan and really made me...

    Need advice for highway riding

Also be prepared for grooved pavement, it can make the bike feel very squirrelly, just remember to keep light on the bars and let them do their own thing Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

    Need advice for highway riding

It sounds weird but its true. My first time on the highway I couldn't believe the wind that was there, because you never really notice it in a car. I remember thinking to myself the bikes you see cruising at 120-130 with the flow of traffic sometimes in the left lane are just crazy, and couldn't...

I had a good experience with cops today

Just to check your licence and insurance is valid is enough of a reason to pull you over Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

    Dropped my bike today ><

Oh they knew. That's when you make eye contact with cutest one and follow up with "just making sure its on there good and tight for when I take you for a ride later". Follow up with charming smile and said girls phone number Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

    post bike crash?

Yes I can read, but my post wasn't backing up your position. As has been explained by many different people, the ONLY difference between counter steering at a low speed and high speed is how much you push the bar to lean the bike. Everything else is the same. Push right, you turn right. Push...

    First ride?? Advice please??

It depends completely on the rider whether or not they will be able to handle the bike, every single person will have a different starting skill set. Some people are naturals, others need to work hard and put in the miles to get the basics down, others fall in the middle of that scale. First...

    post bike crash?

No, he said they only taught him how to counter steer at low speed, because as youngrider has shown us in many posts counter steering is totally different at high speeds  Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

    Noob Riding errors..plz help

if you're entering a left hand curve, you'll push the left bar, if the turn tightens up you'll push the left bar more. Just remember to keep smooth on the throttle, if you chop it closed you're gonna unload your suspension and the bike will become unstable. That's where looking through the turn...

    Noob Riding errors..plz help

All the things you listed are what you need to ride on the street. Turning over 20km/h you use counter steering, braking techniques are exactly the same (front brakes over a brisk walking pace, rear under that speed) and throttle control. Riding at the posted speed limits those three things...

Your average KM per riding season.

I've put 8k on my bike since I got it late October last year. It was also in the shop from april 20th to may 22nd, so I lost a month of good riding weather :( My guess would be 25-30k this year

    Noob Riding errors..plz help

I how your just referring to the head positioning. I'm assuming Dresden was using that pic for the example of looking through the turn, you shouldn't be hanging that far off the bike making lefts in town. Even on nice curvy back roads I would not recommend trying to get that far off the bike...

M1 Exit test procedure course vs. no course

The tax write off is pretty awesome, although the whole cost isn't covered. I took my course at Niagara college which was 460, only 360 could be written off, the other 100 was for materials which couldn't be claimed Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

    TV shows currently watching

The show is very well written and had stayed quite close to the source material, but it honestly doesn't do the books justice. If your a fan of the show, you owe it to yourself to read them Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
