    Helmets and Wind Noise

+1 for Schuberth. I've had an S1 for 3 years now and find it to be a great helmet, quiet and love the sun-visor. It is not DOT, it has a EU standard, so if a cop wants to you can get a ticket for it, that said I haven't had any problems even after being pulled over. I have a Scorpion EX700 and...

    suzuki m109r

Have a friend that had one, drove the crap out of it and he could keep up with anyone. Just watch used ones as second gear seems to be weak and it is expensive to get fixed. I think it's just the big twin torque, just give it a good looking over.

    Next bike...

RedDogDarren , yes it would loop over backwards easily. Redline is about 107km/h in 1st. 2nd to 3rd at the top end of second will lift the front up easily too. Mileage is good, even with some extra go fast goodies.

    Next bike...

I have an SV1000S, trade off with my bud who has a Busa. It is very seldom you can pin the throttle, if you do you are going crazy speeds, or the front wheel is off the ground, and the OPP around my Hood are unforgiving. Insurance is pretty cheap on my bike, way more grunt from the V-twin then...

    Best breakfast joints?

If you are up around Erin way try breakfast at 24, just north, east of town, at 24 and 136. good eats, sometimes classical guitar, and the Esso station it is attached to always has the cheapest gas around. The area is called Coulterville, although it's 2 houses and a gas station. If you want a...

    Triumph Sprint ST 1050

I looked at the Sprint and the VFR before I got my SV. In hind sight I should have held out for a Sprint. My problem was my SV1000S came up for sale with 4000km's on it at under 5G, so I couldn't pass it up. Plus the insurance was less. I like the hard bags on both VFR and Sprint, but the Sprint...

    Geek rider?

I guess I'm a geek, I program CAD machines at work all day, have all the gadgets, TV's, game consoles, phones etc. but after a day at work I don't even want to turn the TV on. I'd rather take care of the chickens, or play with my daughter in the yard. I find sometimes it's nice just to do simple...

    older sport bike love

Dream bike would be a TL1000R, would be nice as a toy and keep my SV for everyday stuff. Insurance is pretty high though, I looked into it when I got my SV.

Just got Pilot Road 2's from Pete's 330 and change shipped to Ontario, was on my porch the next day. Rosey Toes install for 30 bucks, gave him 40 cause he put mine at the front of the line, probably so my 2 year old would stop asking him why? about everything. Great tire a little over 500 km on...

Rosey Toes great customer serice, again

Ordered tires from Pete's Superbike, got them in 1 day and I live in the boonies. Went to Rosey Toes to have them installed after calling around to see who could do it while I wait. Took my tires in not even looking at them, dropped them off and went to the bank machine. Got back and the rear...

How is your bikes fuel Economy?

SV1000S, few mods, spears heads and pistons, pcIII, yosh 3/4, commute mostly rural 80 to 100km/h+, 40km each way, don't kill it but don't ride easy. 4.89 to 5L/100km. Better then the Jetta, and way better then the Dakota.
