    M1 Exit Test Oshawa

I did mine yesterday and one of the examinees did the "bowtie" -- his turns were quite wide, but he passed. Also, I'm not sure about Oshawa, but in Aurora the pavement is marked with X's where the cones go... so if you're nervous, you can go practice.

Used bike: dealer or private seller?

I bet it's already been sold.

Used bike: dealer or private seller?

Bring someone who knows bikes to check out the private sale or ask to have a mechanic look it over (on your own dime). You will save money and get similar security to purchasing from a dealer.

Best places to eat on a ride

I'm with y'all. Been to Johnny's once and haven't been back since; there are plenty of burgers in and around the GTA that put theirs to shame.

Best places to eat on a ride

Famous Sam's at Woodbine and Stoufville road has one of the best burgers out there. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

    Picked up my new baby

Pretty sure I work right beside where you park your bike. Is it next to an older yellow Gixxer today?

How Long Did It Take You To Learn How To Ride A Motorycle?

I was able to get up and go as soon as I stepped foot on a bike. However, a few thousand KMs later and I know I'll never master this thing; I learn something new every day, and if I day comes that a ride leaves me thinking I didn't learn anything, I'll watch some MotoGP highlights to bring me...

    Coin-operated wash?

If you have time after, I suggest taking a short jaunt up Bathurst to St. Clair to grab a burger at the Stockyards. Best burger in Toronto that I've tried so far.

What's your plan this long weekend?

That's exactly how my tandem jump went. For your first solo jump, you toss yourself out of the plane and the cord attached to the plane pulls your chute for you in less than a second. Not nearly as fun and exhilarating as soaring through the air like a bird.

    Newbie considering getting a two-wheeler

    1. A car will always trump a bike when it comes to lugging anything. But hell, they aren't nearly as fun. 2. If I'm not mistaken, a CBR 125r can be had for cheaper than a scooter and will do a lot better at speeds higher than 70k (although don't expect to break the 120km/h mark). A scooter...

What's your plan this long weekend?

I've been to these guys a couple times: http://www.parachuteschool.com/ Very laid back, friendly and helpful. For a first time, I suggest jumping tandem (attached to an instructor) because they allow you to jump from much higher altitudes.

What's your plan this long weekend?

Oh, I'm aware of the difference. Although it had occurred to me that it is impossible to notice someone's deficiencies in spelling when speaking to them, so I settled for the next best thing. Anyway, we can do this all day, but I actually get paid to be a grammar/spelling/English nazi, so I...

Be sure to correct everyone's grammar at that party you're going to. ;)

What's your plan this long weekend?

Heading to a cabin on Manatoulin Island. Was planning on taking the bike up, but she needs some maintenance before making that trek.

The dealership is the only place I've heard of. Also check Clymer's and Hayne's websites/Amazon.

    Best Honda service shop

Cost me ~$100 at Markham Honda Outdoor Power. But I did the oil change myself to save a few bucks.

Well... this is a real shipwreck. OP needs to give his head a good shake.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Wednesday evening @ Bathurst and Bloor -- you were heading North on Bathurst. You: blue Gixxer with a babe on the back. Matching Shoei helmets -- yours was blue, her's was purple. Me: walking with a brown briefcase slung over my shoulder, staring and drooling at your bike. Had to take TTC...

    Scorpian EXO-1000 opinions?

Never noticed the weight issues myself; I have ridden for hours at a time and not felt sore or tired in the neck area. I also just wrecked and this thing saved my head (literally). My entire right side is pretty bunged up, along with what I believe to be a broken rib, but no adverse effects...
