that's what i've been trying to say...the bike crashed a LOT later than the amount of time needed for a bike to stop at that distance UNLESS he was going way too fast for a 2 lane road.
Dude...I've been following you're threads since you've started but you are seriously getting way too ****ing paranoid. The bike sounds legit and if your bike gets stolen you know who did it.
I don't think it will be 100% taxi's fault since the bike should have seen this (as can be seen, the crash happens quite a bit after the taxi enters the opposite lane) and stopped in time.
Even if it has been certified, it may have been dropped, crashed, low-sided w/e... and he just covered it up real good and fixed it up. The fairings can be replaced easily so you can't just judge it from looking at pictures.
As for the safety itself...I don't see where you can go wrong with it...
Sold my 09 SV650S yesterday for $5100. It was saftied and had some mods on it like the Yoshi exhaust (you really need to get a slip on at least for SV650s). It being $4500 and not being saftied, I'd check out the bike reallllly carefully first.
Probably not. I don't have a permit for on campus parking but when I do I usually park beside SCH/DWE. I know there is another student with a black SV650 too tho. Sold mine yesterday actually
