Friend of a friend, worked for a government agency back in the late 90's. His job was to put mileage on new model motorcycles. He had a fleet at his disposal and would have to rack up kilometers on them. He got paid by the km. Guess they were testing them for standards?
He offered to get me...
I'm a little late but since you have the tz250 front I think you should go something like this, but with your original black and this style white speed blocks and a number board.
Awesome!
Have heard some good first hand reviews of Gord. I'm thinking of taking him a set of rz350 barrels I have for another project.
Looking foward to how this turns out! Seems like your gonna have a runner for this summer... if we ever get one.
Thanks for the suggestions guys.
mroberto - gonna give what you suggested a shot. A friend mentioned that I just need to break the seal by either twisting the piston or pushing it back in. Pushed it back in with a c-clamp last night.
Have visitors over, so not able to use the compressor...
I'm rebuilding a seized caliper I got from the UK.
I've tried using compressed air. And I've tried using a caliper piston removal tool.
I've got three of the four pistons out... but there is one really stubborn one.
I haven't had luck using either method. The piston is stuck almost all the way...
Cross over with GP exit?
Nice looking pipe. Build quality looks superb.
My guess is shipping from Japan is what brings up the $$.
Any info on performance? From what I've read - good mid range pipe.
Looks good!
Looking forward to seeing some paint go down. I think a late 80's black/white tz paint scheme would look super cool since you've got the tz fairing, and the mc16 tail has the perfect spot for a number board.
What are the engine plans? Is it a runner currently - stick it back in...
