I'm glad you atleast got a note OP, the sorry sack of c_m that became the ahole that hit my parked bike last year just picked it up and left. I reported it to police and paid the deductible to fix it. Though, sometimes I wish I had fixed it myself.
Again, another example of poor legal advice with my own ignorance is partly why I still have lower back pain, loss of flexibility, and difficulty sleeping. Most of these symptoms were caused by an aggressive (also a local Harley rider in my neighbourhood) driver who rammed me twice through an...
I met one of the guys from Bikes on Wheels on his wife's Bonneville recently, but I'm wondering if this place is related to the bicycle shop. I'm planning on heading down to check it out on Saturday, anybody wanna meet up?
I tried the TD webform and I got a quote for ~$6500. Clean record, 24yo, one claim due to vandalism, bike value $4k full M unrestricted for the last year and a year on m/c insurance. They don't factor in my on-road experience with other licences or how long I've held my M1/2. :(
They're neat looking bikes and CCW did their best to provide a bike with a decent cost/quality ratio. You do have to think about what your priorities are for a first bike. Will you think of upgrading in a year? Others have already mentioned that you'll likely lose quite a bit of value after one...
DVP Northbound @3pm-ish
You: dressed up like a modern ton-up man on a Sport 1000 Mono in black (my dream bike...)
Me: Blue 07 Bandit 650SA in dorky-please-see-me fluorescent yellow all weather jacket.
Nice bike, but damn you looked uncomfortable in traffic.
I'm pretty sure the raincover is zipped away in a little pouch somewhere on the bag... I neglected to use it when the sky just opened up and puked a metric f***ton of water down during a nice sunny day last season. It was on that day my BB Bold saved the day and kept the rest of the bag...
Re: Help me plan my epic trip of a lifetime! Toronto->California and back in 15 days!
Just want to wish you luck my fellow Richmond Hiller. I was planning a very similar trip to visit some friends across the US with the same time frame but as a new rider I don't have the gumption to do this...
I'd be more worried about getting it knocked down as a previous poster mentioned. My brand new CBR250R got the tip-over on Queen St. when I parked to see a movie last weekend. Drunks and general ******** like to mess with bikes, it's a fact of life.
Have you guys tried visiting Delphic in the Trinity Bellwoods area? It's a fashion shop but you could ask if they've got a line on Belstaff jackets as they've carried them before.
