I second this and it has gotten to a point where I've given up cycling in Toronto. I used to really enjoy it but I hate my fellow pedal-bike riders; they're a moronic bunch these days.
Roundabouts please or a plane ticket and job offer in the UK (for me), thanks.
OP: Have you recorded any videos of the driving in Richmond Hill and Markham? You'd exhaust your memory of expletives and be struck dumb by the ineptitude of the drivers we have up here.
Hey gang,
Keep an eye out for a group of teenage boys roaming the area making deliberate attempts to cause an accident. On my way home I had to swerve out of the way of one of these kids who will jump out onto the road to deliberately make you avoid them. It has already been reported as a road...
I know I'm bumping an old-azz thread up but whatever happened to this bike coming to Canada? I was looking at getting this as a fun commuter as opposed to the cheap as old chips CBR and the not-that-fun-or-pretty 250 Ninja/CBR.
It's worse when they see you, make eye contact, then decide that your safety is less important than their need to occupy the space you are currently travelling in. This is how I was wedged between two vehicles on the DVP. Now, no level of intense stupidity surprises me.
I wouldn't park ever again on Queen between Uni and Spadina... I got my bike knocked over in a hit and run when I did. Before that, I had my car bump parked.
More info gathered on China Smack:

I have a feeling the driver of the Ferrari wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Just a hunch.
ME: Standing next to a bunch of bikes at L&L
YOU: Ducati Paul Smart + Zard system
ME: my heart pumping blood to my groin at a hurried pace upon hearing that beast pull up
Turned left in front of me after making eye-contact and clearly misjudging my speed/distance. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here, but it's also highly likely he's just a dumb piece of **** behind the wheel or arrogant as all ****.
Speaking of the dog though, I knew a fobby girl back...
I thought I got busted when a rather friendly looking (read: FAT) Officer stepped out, but it was the speedy Benz in front of me in Barrie that got waved over. The OPP Officer then apologized for holding me up! I did my best to give my holiest of holier than thou waves and bid him farewell...
LOL I know that plate #, it belongs to a car that very nearly got me killed last year. I'm pretty sure I reported it to Road Watch last year. Not related, but perhaps irresponsible character gets passed down.
That's cute, but it's a shameless bit of marketing and trickery. Thanks BMW for ruining my dreams of owning an S1000RR. It doesn't actually do the tablecloth trick so I'm not buying one.
