You still thinking of giving up the Maurader or are you getting used to it? I learned on one of those in the school, i found to be an ok bike. I was actually surprised it could handle my 230+lbs.. there were a couple of girls in our class learning on them because the instructors recommended them...
+1 if anything all they were doing was checking to see if the bike rider was drinking and if the bar is known for a young crowd that would mostly likely mean someone with an M2, which means no alcohol allowed in your blood at all. But still, the entire story sounds ridiculous.
Awesome. Assuming you have your M1 you should now should sign up for a school course to get your M2. You can learn the basics from a friend but the courses still teach you a lot more than one single person can and you don't have to worry about if you drop your buddies bike.. lol
As the others stated, you don't have to take the test in Brampton at the ministry. If you take the bike course through one of the schools they do the m1 exit test on premises, all you have to do is take the paperwork they give you to the ministry afterwards (60 days after passing your m1 written...
Serious over reaction man. The light was red yes, but you had at least 2 car lengths in front of you after those cars turned so you should have moved up, thats why the guy beeped. Moving up to the line shows you are ready to turn and not asleep. The firetruck and others were way off to the right...
Doc's Leathers @ 726 Queen St. West. Small store but it's packed to the gills with some awesome stuff, it's geared more for the cruisers crowd i guess as it's an old school biker store and almost like a head shop, but they do have clothes for all styles including some race style suits that are...
Is that supposed to be cool? so the guy on the bike is an immature punk who sped off and broke the law.. wow big man... hope he t-boned a tractor trailer at the next intersection.
I think difference between L to XXL and larger varies greatly between brands. The two helmets i tried at the store today looked almost exactly the same, a Gmax and HCI.,The HCI XL was (way) too small for me, and the GMAX almost fit even though it was only an L, so the L from the one brand was...
Ok here is my problem. I have a large head and i want to find a 1/2 helmet that doesn't make my head look like Marvin the Martian.
I went to a store today and tried on a few that they had, i ended up fitting my cro-magnon skull into a Large Jmax 55s, but it is very tight. They come in XL but...
That part gave me a chuckle. I'm 43 and soon to be 44, and am in the best shape of my life. If i could go back in a time machine i could easily kick my own 20 or 30 year old *** lol. And i wasn't exactly a pu$$y back then.. ;) At 31 you are still a kid. It's funny how as we age we always think...
I did it online and paid by credit card. It showed next week as well as every upcoming week this summer as available, so i just click on next week, put in my info, and bam.. I got a student id # and then access to a website which shows the course in my list of classes, starting July 29th for...
To answer my own thread, thanks to shoe for recommending Centennial, i registered tonight got in for next weekend! Quicker than i ever imagined. It's also cool that when you register you get a student id # and from then on have access to their student website and have access to their other class...
Thanks shoe. Actually i had completely missed the Centennial course from the list i had looked at before. I think they are the perfect fit for me as it's the easiest to get to. Hopefully i will make it in before my cutoff..
Trying to book to get into a school today, i was on the phone with Humber on hold from 3:30pm until the line when dead about half an hour later. I called back and got a machine saying the call lines are closed for the day. Have to wait until monday now.
Humber is closest to me, but really i...
