If you like fast corners, you should definitely try Losail. There is a triple right in the second half of the track that is a really great - not to forget the very long left-hander you can do full throttle that comes right before. I'm not sure about the 675, though. Especially on the main...
Well, I have no family to feed or wife to please! :D Other people save their money for a week at the beach, I save it for a day or two at the track. I think in comparison with a family holiday or so it doesn't actually cost that much.
It's like your saying: Losail is more bike-friendly whereas Bahrain caters much more to cars. The interesting thing is that Bahrain is much easier to learn. With Losail you can easily lose track of where you are. Everything looks the same there except for the main straight. And I'm not sure that...
Thanks guys! :)
@imstav: It was a Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) event. They announced it at the beginning of the year - I think via facebook, but also the Ducati homepage. I just had to write an email, and then you go through process. All quite easygoing.
Hey guys
I took the last weekend off to fly to Bahrain for a track day at the Formula 1 circuit. It was a short event with just one day on track, so the pace was rather slow, but it was a lot of fun with some very nice people and an awesome atmosphere riding under floodlights at such a famous...
Admit it, you have heated grips! :p Well, at least the 899 has built-in seat-heating.
I actually don't mind the winter break too much. It kind of makes the start of the new season that much more exciting. Still, it could have started by now...
Hi everyone!
Here's a shout out to all bikers who are missing the sunny season. Last summer I mounted a GoPro to my 899 Panigale and took the Superquadro for a spin. Hope this drives away the winter blues a bit :-)

Have a good one, just a month or...
Thanks! :)
The old layout from the Senna days is now mostly covered in forest and grass, but it can still be seen from the air (Google Maps, etc.). The current F1 layout incl. the full Parabolica is pretty cool too, though. Certainly better for bikes.
Hello everyone
I've been wanting to do this forever and now it finally worked: I've taken my Ducati 998 to the Hockenheimring (Formula 1) race track in Southern Germany and strapped a camera to the tank. :)
Here's one lap around the course:

As you...
Thanks guys! :)
But I could fall off the back! :D
I though I'd tape it because of the one-sided swingarm and and the MV branded exhaust. I also like to see the suspension working, but it doesn't show any direction or bigger picture, that's true. That's the funny thing about naked bikes -...
Hello everyone
Here's a video of a white MV Brutale. I like the bike quite a lot - it has great looks and a really potent engine. The steering is a bit more twitchy than I need it but that definitely doesn't spoil the experience. :D

I laid some...
...and here is an onboard clip of the same event with the same bike. I'm going about 5 sec./lap faster than above, but it's all still very much relaxed :angel7:

Hey guys
In April, the weather here in Germany is ghastly, so I thought I'd fly to Spain and give it the finger. :D
We went to Cartagena for four days on track. I rode a BMW S1000RR, the weather was absolutely beautiful pretty much throughout and I met some very nice people.
Here is a video...
Hey everybody!
There is something special to the sound of a Ducati testastretta. With carbon Termignoni pipes and an open dry clutch it will roar and babble and hiss and rattle more like an animal than a machine. :agave:
So, this time, I added no music to my video. I used four camera angles...
I've taken another look at the material and found some nice stuff that wasn't in the first clip. So here's an extended video showing some riding at dusk, other riders, footage from the pitlane and a very nice thumbs-up by Simon Crafar at the end :)

I took some time during the holidays to rework my Ducati 998 track day montage.
That is to say I added some sepia and Full Metal Jacket soundtrack :D :
