Are you new to owning an R6? I am sure it's F and not C. R6 is a warm running bike. At idle (depending on how long you ran it for 220 F is normal). Once the bike starts moving 180 F is average.

Dollymix, heal up and I'm glad you'll be OK. That picture reinforces why it's a good idea to wear knee pads/armour under your jeans as a bare minimum. Many think"that won't happen to me" until it does.

Was out yesterday for a quick ride and gas up. Was my last ride for the season before I winterize. Saw a few bikes out, I thought there would be more given the decent weather. However, even at 11c my finger tips were getting cold.

OP, not sure if you are a noob. People are being sarcastic and pulling your chain. It IS a SCAM. A very common one. Every time you list a used motorcycle/car you will get a couple of these scam artists looking for fools.

Yeah, for those who have ridden it lately it sucks. The two automated lights really are a pain. Hopefully next season after the construction is done it will be business as usual.
