Have you recently changed the tires? Also had a similar feeling on my old DRZ when I had too much preload in the front preventing the fork from compressing enough during cornering. Messed the geometry all up and caused a similar feeling.
Usually lots of barn storage areas outside of most towns, cities. I think that will be less expensive. Most important thing is how you prep the bike and that you are happy with its accommodations while you are gone. Any friends with a garage?
Happy hunting.
Looks like the connection got loose increasing the resistance causing it to overheat. I personally would just repair.
I would remove the burnt pins from the connector on either side and then either find a new connector to handle those two pins or if I couldn't see reason to need to disconnect...
I am confused. Why would you be worried about the clutch? It was not engaged. The only issue could be revving high with no engine load. At times when things are not perfect can result in a spun bearing or other issue. However I can't see how anything could be damaged.
What is this about...
Hmm that is really odd. What symptom leads you to believe the batteries were drained? No dash lights, slow turn over? Is it possible the keys were left in the on position when you returned?
I am a bit confused. What did the officer do that really requires any action. He seemed to be simply ignorant of the right of the individual. He did not take any action from the reports that I read that would be considered unlawful.
Did I miss something in the articles?
Did a checker plate toolbox with autosol and a buffing wheel on my drill. Did ok, however I did have to finish with a terry towel and some elbow grease
I tend not to worry too much about base price when you are already at the floor. No money to be lost if the condition remains about the same. Sometimes 1200 is a better deal than 800....
I have had this happen to me before. The individual made claims of being a officer. Having stopped before in this situation, I would recommend not stopping. Essentially the police need to identify themselves as a officer to force you to stop, I am uncertain regarding uniforms but I would think...
I would ensure that the clutch lever is moving when pulling and releasing the clutch. Could it be that it is not retuning. I had a Yamaha raptor that did this once, cable jammed not letting the clutch engage.
The free play adjustment on your clutch could be off. This means that your clutch is not fully released when you have the lever pulled. This would cause a jumpy engagement into first.
I am a little confused how it cannot be a gas issue due to a full tank? Can you explain? Could it be venting of the tank? Not well versed in this just asking exploratory questions.
