This was my first bike too and yes, it is bigger than the older 125 used in my riding school. I bought mine for $1500 I think with safety. It's a great bike to learn on.

Jethro Bovingdon tested both cars and the 918 did beat the P1 but after a change of tires, the P1 beat the 918 but the difference is marginal which still does not warrant all the hype.
Wow I didn't know you could fit that bike in a van! Congrats! I haven't cleaned my carbs yet, but as Zoodles said, at low RPM's it's still hesitating, but at medium to high, it's fine.
