I take my battery out... but only because I live in a building so no plugs underground.... I have to bring it upstairs to keep on the tender... If I lived in a house with a garage then yeah I would leave the battery in the bike on a tender.
Honestly it depends on the company... I had a friend that was told by one company that her CBR 125 was a sport bike.... and her 500F was classified as a naked sport... so the rates they wanted were high lol

I have a feeling I am quite a bit older than you.... but than again some asian women look 20 when they are 50 lol
A rider just got taken out in front of my building. A minivan not paying attention pulled out without looking right in front of the bike.
Icing on the cake is the van pulled out from the clearly marked one-way entrance. Rider landed/stopped about 20-25 feet away... leg is broken and some...
This falls under TSSA regulations..... Elevators, escalators, rollercoasters, even those inflatable bouncy castles you rent for birthday parties are supposed to be TSSA inspected if for public use.
The sad truth right there....
Also just for context.... did the math as I was curious.... Doing 10,000km in your driveway is insane... that would be approx 2,564 laps of the Mosport GP track
Yeah me too.... They made no distinction between M1 and M2 at the time. Insured me with M1 on Brand new R6.... they didn't even ask if I was taking a course.... This was 2 years ago though.
