Lots of Advice Needed for a New Rider

Most of the others have covered what you're asking but I'm just going to say one thing on commuting all year round- I do it. Last season, I rode all year round and only had a few weeks (Slush/Freezing rain) where I didn't ride. But if you go with this option, you will need GEAR! Heated grips...

Buddy just crash doing wheelies in parking lot Hwy 10 and 403 North west building

That is true, price you pay though for stunting. It's fun when you're only a few degrees away from looking like a badass to a failure :D.

Buddy just crash doing wheelies in parking lot Hwy 10 and 403 North west building

Damnn, he really messed that up. Also I'd say a parking lot is the best spot to practice wheelies provided it's away from busy streets.

anyone trade up from a Ninja 250r to a Suzuki DRZ400SM?

Not disagreeing at all with your advice, the FCR would be a lot better choice. But, I just don't want to be forking out the extra cost right now.

anyone trade up from a Ninja 250r to a Suzuki DRZ400SM?

160 is good enough for me :D, also as you most likely know the DRZ has an insane amount of upgrades since it's such an old bike (I know the 250 does to). Currently waiting on my MRD/SSW Full system and going to do the 3x3 airbox mod with a KN air filter- of course rejet. This should give me...

5 Cops, One eBike, 3 Cop cars, determined rider (sort of), rides away with a smile.

Re: 5 Cops, One eBike, 3 Cop cars, determined rider (sort of), rides away with a sm They are being treated differently because they aren't a motorized vehicle, they go extremely slow. With a governed wire, they top out at 32 km/h- barely enough to get a breeze in your face and 49cc scooters go...

    Street legal enduro bikes?

+1 on the DRZ 400 S(M), I would say if you decide on the DRZ go with the SM model because it has inverted forks. If later on decide you want dirt tires, it'll be cheaper to get a set of rims/tires then inverted forks. Or just be like the guy I saw today riding a KLX 2 stroke during rush hour, it...
