Stators can be fried if the stars are in the right alignment. All you need is a bad R/R or wires shorting to ground and.....sniff.sniff.....burnt toast.
try searching on ebay. There a few suppliers like RICK'S STATOR (iirc) and TIM PARROT
here is what I found today.....http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=2007+gsxr+600+stator&_sacat=See-All-Categories

Paris Black really sucks the bone when it comes to singing. I'd rather hear my motorcycle when it is stumbling and miss-firing compared to his shi--tty voice.
No wonder the guy in the video is fast, since he is about 25% lighter than the other riders. Also he gets a better lean angle on those right-handers.
I rode into work this morning, before the main moisture fell but still rode in some sprinkles. I got onto the Allen Rd North ramp from 401E and took it slow because:
I know it's early in the season and my skills are abit rusty
The temp. was about 2C and the roads wet
I didn't want to wreck...
I work at the location on Chesswood Dr. (weekends only) and the 6 hour question is just routine. Ask for a time that suits you and most likely you will get it. Also remember that the last 3 days and the last weekend of the month are the busiest because people move most at those times. Mid...
Was that you two at Derry& 10th Line around 2 PM-ish. I was just pulling out of the mall in my cage when I noticed two black sport bike riders going at a slow cruising pace west along Derry. Hope you guys have more fun before the year runs out.
Wouldn't it be great if we could all ride on NYE?
@ Dayao12 & Zaneris: I will be in Toronto during the weekend. I will be at Allen/Sheppard at work. I can get away possibly around 2PM on Saturday but it might be on sunday. If you two would like to PM me a time and date whre we can meet that would be great.
BTW, if anyone has an R6 or CBR...
If you are looking to get rid (for free...) of your OEM exhaust(s) then let me know. I have a few projects a friend and I are working on and would really appreciate some donated exhausts.
Sport exhaust preferred but most any will do.
Cheers

Damned that was fast. I ordered AND payed for the tires yesterday at about 2-3PM and the FedEx guy arrived with them at my door at 10AM this morning.
Way to go Sebastien at Pete's Superbike. www.petes-superbike.com
Damned I was so ****** off once I finally got home this morning 4 hours after I had left from work.
As I rode away from work I noticed that my rear end was going up and down like a pogo stick or something. I thought it was just the rode undulating underneath me for some reason. I pulled over...
The vents have a tab on them and I can cycle thru "cool -> warm" in three steps. So that means either I have a cool setup, a cool/warm setup, or a warm setup.
My bike has vents which direct the warm air going past the engine to be directed to your legs, knees and lower. Very effective as it keeps my knees from stiffening up.
BTW, my ride is a 1982 Yamaha Vision XZ550RJ
