    Motorcycle break in period.

Many believe that running it at WOT during break in period will help seat everything properly, ensuring good seals and compression. Also, it's still under warranty... so if you do break something you'll be rewarded for it with a brand new motor. I say Giv'er. ;) EDIT: Don't just blast a...

Thoughts on The Misfit by Cleveland Cyclewerks

I wish people would be more open minded. Chinese does not equal crap, in fact all of us are surrounded by high quality chinese consumer goods - stuff we are willing to pay for obviously because we fill our lives with it. Look around you, check the labels. 99% of the things you own were probably...

Thoughts on The Misfit by Cleveland Cyclewerks

Do a little research, Scott Colisimo tried to have these bikes made in America, but after years of trying found it to be impossible. So he oversaw Chinese production, and is using the profit leverage to build a factory in Cleveland. I know you are skeptical but it's unfair to just spout garbage...

Here is a link to the Lifan Group's Wikipedia entry, it's a rather large company at this point. They export everything from small gas engines to large transport trucks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifan_Group

    test ride DRZ 400 SM

It's been described as riding a 2x4 plank of wood. YMMV. I know that the Kawi 750 I rode was a freakin lazy boy, if yours is anywhere near as comfy you might want to hold onto it until you're sure about the DRZ.

Sure, I'll offer what I can! Any amount of websearching for CCW and you'll inevitably find "Gardo" an early adopter and CCW fanboy. He has put plenty of miles on his modified Heist and is always making more youtube videos and leaving reviews around the web. Here is a link to his youtube...

Thoughts on The Misfit by Cleveland Cyclewerks

Hey I just want to weigh in on these, I really love the Cleveland Cyclewerks bikes. I do not work for, nor am I affiliated in any way with the company.. but I am considering buying one and have done a bit of *** based research. Here's my take. The misfit is pretty cool, it's very close to a...

Vehicle transfer in the family, question

I had a car signed over to me once by a parent, it required both parties to be present and it had to be done with someone specific from the MTO present, but required us only to be there on the appropriate day (when that person was working). My advice would be for her to have it done before she...

    Beginner Bike

I would second the "avoid" the 400R comment, I see no reason to choose it over the ninja250. However, you might take a look at the 500R, a friend of mine roughly the same size and build as you bought one for his first bike and he loves it! Any of the 650 twin bikes can be a decent choice for a...

    Bike delivered today! (pics)

Great looking bike! I bet it's more fun than the CBR125's that I rode on the gearing up course, even those little things were pretty cool! Those naysayers will just have to suck it up, if you ever outgrow that bike you can likely resell it for the better part of the initial cost. Beginner bikes...
