I believe Aprilia's ABS does the exact same thing. If I remember correctly the only difference between these two bikes brake system is that BMW applies both brakes when you pull front brake lever. I wish my Tuono had the Brembo that S1K R has, the best front brake IMO.

Mine is L2 600 and the best I can get is 25 km per litre, that's a little over 400 km a tank. Commuting to downtown Toronto dropped it to only 16 km per litre. I know it's rare but in my case it's pretty consistent.

I wouldn't be complaining if I only ride my bike on the track but again there's no point to get the Tuono if I only wanna do track. My gix can do just fine, it is built for that purpose :)
