We WERE all set to start the motorcycle lifestyle...

Does your wife read articles about all the bad things that COULD happen while driving a pickup truck too (rollovers, getting hit by a big rig, etc)? ;)

    WTF, Aprilia?

My Tuono has been rock solid for 23,000km so far. Currently at Corsa Meccanica being serviced. The guy running the shop has always done right by me, even when there was all sorts of commotion at the old place he worked at - Motoretta. I love my 1000R and the only bike I can see myself selling...

    Z1 Cycle-tech - what are your experiences.???

When I'm feeling adventurous, I don't even pack a tank bag. I do get nose bleeds every time I go that far north though.

    Z1 Cycle-tech - what are your experiences.???

Have you considered checking/searching the reviews forum where over time there has been several reviews of Z1? Anyways, the shop has always done by us very well. Been going to them for 6+ years.

Can my landlord do this? re: apartment parking

If the building law is 1 vehicle per spot, then I suspect they can't legally charge you twice to park two vehicles in that spot, since technically, that's not allowed.

    Got renewal notice. Surprising drop.

Did you check the details of the policy they sent you? It likely went down because you are now getting less coverage. Some insurers are automatically lowering rates as a result of rulings that reduced the minimum liability you must have.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

Clearly the old man is a grumpy old bastard and what he did is both appalling and very unsafe. Whatever charges may be laid by the crown, would be very warranted. However, while everyone's focusing on the old man, nobody's pointed out that the dog owners should bear some of the responsibility...

Why Android is better than iPhone.

I guess it's better in the sense that it exists! It would go a long way towards RIM's credibility if this key BB feature that they have had for so many years actually... worked properly. I hear complaints from our BB users every bloody day about synchronization issues with Exchange...

Why Android is better than iPhone.

This would be exciting if RIM had released a mobile OS + apps that wasn't utter garbage at least once. Given that historically they have never done that, they don't get the benefit of the doubt. Every bb I have ever used was horrible from the software point of view.

Why Android is better than iPhone.

Android is great, if you love dealing with OS fragmentation and a less than polished UI. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of open source but all this nonsense with 80 billion versions of Android on a multitude of handsets, some that can be upgraded, some that cannot, etc is a pain. I have...

You'd have a much easier time getting an RS125.

    Any scotch lovers out there?

When I was last there I also came back with a bottle of their stuff that's been aged in an Ice Wine cask as well. The hint of sweetness was nice.

    Any scotch lovers out there?

That's awesome stuff. I brought some home when we hit up the east coast last year. We ended up spending the night at the distillery too, cool stuff.

    condo security

I think you need to re-read what I wrote. I'm not complaining that I can't chain up my bike. I'm saying STOP TELLING ME TO CHAIN IT UP as it is impossible for me to do so. There's a difference. Given that you don't know me, where I live, or what I ride, I would say your statements about me...
  15. Q

    condo security

I'm so sick of people telling condo dwellers to chain their bikes completely ignoring the fact that in general condo bylaws prohibit you from installing anchors in your parking spot. So unless your parking spot happens to have a column next to it, you're out of luck. Furthermore, even if you...

    condo security

All the thieves have to do is just follow a resident into the garage. I would wager a guess that's how the majority of bikes are taken.
