    T-clock (Pre trip Inspection Routines)

Anybody that has left their bike unattended somewhere and has had it messed with would wholeheartedly disagree with you. You can certainly do post-ride inspections, and you're right in that you have more time to take care of them. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least do a circle...

    Married/Common law status

Living in the same household is only part of the equation, being in a relationship is another. In your scenario, if the roommates aren't in a relationship they're not common-law.

    Working out! Fitness! Nutrition!

Why don't you check how much sugar is in your OJ. While juices do have a good amount of vitamins and nutrients, they are also generally chock full of sugars.
  4. Q

    Married/Common law status

Too bad that wouldn't matter one bit if there were actually separation agreements. Just because you don't change your address over doesn't mean that the courts won't consider you common law.

    Streetcar Track Lowside

IMO what's more likely is that the OP didn't actually cross the tracks at the appropriate angle, didn't maintain constant speed, or touched the brakes, etc. Sometimes even when you think you're not doing something, you're instinctively doing it.

Woman is Kicked and Freaks Out on Train

Given that this happened during a commute on the GO train, it's actually safe to assume that neither of those folks are from Toronto but from the other municipalities around Toronto. So if you did want to generalize you should probably assert "suburbs at their finest"?

    Gut feelings of robbery

Really? That's amusing given that the most common way for thieves to make it down to the parking area is by following a resident.

    Aprilia Tuono v4R Factory

+1. I never had that experience. The one time I had to wait a long while for my Tuono to be back from the shop was because a part was being rebuilt by a 3rd party and NOT because of Aprilia parts availability.

(GPBIKES) rdt mosport september 3rd 2012

It's unfortunate that we had so many crashes yesterday. It's not rocket science to see if there are other riders in your group that are faster than you. I make it a point that if I think there are faster riders behind me, I'll try and not goose it as hard coming out of a corner onto a straight...

Someone complained about our house to the city

With how aggressive the general public is these days about anything, I'm not surprised that someone would call the city instead of just coming by to politely let their neighbour know about what's bothering them. These days, you never know how someone is going to respond. In most cases, I think...

failing to drive in marked lane

You're saying you were swerving due to suddenly seeing some birds, so you were taking emergency evasive action but still had time to make sure there was no traffic before performing your emergency evasive action? Sounds quite improbable.

    Toronto Cyclists

Get your facts straight. The TTC is one of the most (if not most) self-funding transit system in all of North America. Essentially no other transit system in a metropolitan area receives so little funding from overall tax revenue (municipal, provincial, federal) as the TTC. It has the highest...

It's time for a revolution, in the downtown core!

It has nothing to do with shirt and tie. The average citizen in our city is a retard. I see the behaviour explained here exhibited by all sorts of people. Sure, at King/Bay it's goign to be more people in shirt and ties doing it. Over at Spadina/King it's people in jeans and t-shirts that...

It's time for a revolution, in the downtown core!

Rob, they're probably suburbanites who aren't used to sidewalks that actually have people on them ;) Tho, I know exactly what you mean, it's annoying as hell.

    Last night I T-Boned a transit bus...

This is neither here nor there since this has already happened but... If you were only going 40 km/h then why didn't you just stop when you saw the bus? Any reasonable bike should be able to easily stop from 40 km/h in a rather short distance. If the bus was going slow (it would have been slow...

30 is an extremely BORRING age to be, Marriage rant

When I was getting married, we did away with the god forsaken cash grab parties (bachelor, bachelorette, engagement, etc). They're completely unnecessary and 95% of the people who have them do so because "everyone else does".

Yeah, Google doesn't work past 7:30pm either.

Modulating headlights are as annoying and effective as loud pipes are at saving lives.

victim of Road Rage, hit and run by a coworker, how should I handle this?

Unless you are hurt on company property, there's going to be little to no case to list the company on the lawsuit. What happens after hours is a personal matter. Besides, there won't be a point in filing a lawsuit if you're turned into mush. Whatever though, clearly you really aren't...
