Would you rather it be easier downshifting or upshifting in the corners?

Who's gone reverse-shift and never looked back? Worth it for the street bike? Or is it simply a 'cool' thing to say you have? How bout for the track? Is there an increasing left turn radius on one of our tracks that require banging out upshifts mid corner for max exit speed?

I use ski/snowboard underlayers, i.e. Helly Hansen - merino wool, light, great.

What you should be doing is going to FAST or Racer5 and not relying on the internet for your answer. There are many reasons why you're not passing people. Let a qualified instructor teach you. Let them show you. Let them let you practice. And then you'll know.

tough to to tell by the video but the other bike might have hit him. The rider could be older, too. Marquez is a kid with fresh bones. All the gear in the world wont help save you from some nasty breaks if you're a bit older more fragile. Plus, lower speed high sides hurt more than high speed...

I've used both. The one usually designated as a motorcycle trailer has a built in 'chock'. If you have your own chock - as long as the trailer has 4 tie down points and a ramp, you're good to go.
