This may be a dumb question considering I know what i'd do with a car battery but in order to attach the battery to a battery tender, do I have to disconnect the battery from the bike and connect the tender to the battery alone? Le me know, thanks.

Thanks Tovarish. I think today is my last day on the bike this year, I will certainly make the most of my commute home tonight. Flurries on the weekend and daily highs of 6C (max) next week. I'll winterize it this weekend, get a nice warm blanket and put it on for the hibernation.

Hey Johnny M, at my age I have learned to be patient, that's why I bought a Ninja 250 and not anything bigger. I guess in a year or two I'll consider a larger bike, I figure in that time I will have put on many hours on the bike and I'll be comfortable enough to go up in class.

Yeah,I find I keep whipping my head around non-stop looking for cars pulling up on me or coming out of intersections. I guess you have to put your time in as a noob before you can really become comfortable.
