Re: New guy needs dirty friend.
I saw some you tube videos of the track.. Seems not too bad, but still, I'd much rather ride a track with a real off road bike. Mine is street legal with the mirrors and all the lights, etc...
maybe someday though.
Re: New guy needs dirty friend.
My bike is not set up for track riding. It's a dual sport, and I don't think the jumps are good with all the extra crap that's on it for that.
Thanks for the heads up on the Lindsay motocross in two weeks. I love watching it.
How do you know when the races are...
Re: New guy needs dirty friend.
Well, I didn't get to Lindsay to see the motocross, but I did get to the ganaraska for a tiny little ride through it today. OH HOW I'VE MISSED THE OFFROAD. It was a simple little jaunt through the main trail, but so fun.
I really need to get out with someone...
Thanks mates!
I know there is places to go, but going by myself would not be as fun. plus I'm not familiar with where, and what, is needed to go riding. I need to get a friend involved in off-road. I have a buddy with a Harley, but those bikes don't seem to do very well in dirt. :D
NICE!!
Did he get the bug? I bet he would like it better with dirt tires.
I love the GOPRO views.
You have a bunch of video on YouTube from the Ganaraska forest, don't you? I think i recognise your bike.
I think if there is another trail ride somewhere, i'll try to see if i can make it...
I just got my first bike in almost 30 years, and it is a dual sport. I got a WR250r about four months ago and ride it exclusively back and forth to work every day.
I grew up riding bikes in BC. Nothing special, but went out my door and started to ride from there. I can't do that in Toronto...
New guy needs dirty friend.
Hey, I'm new to these forums due to the fact I just got my first bike in almost 30 years, and have not needed to join any forum or group.

How did the guy with the street wheels fare?
Did he go through the single track?
Did anyone ride in on their bikes and then ride the trails?
Sorry for all the questions, but i'd like to try this out sometime. Need to get out on the dirt soon....
