I insured my first bike with SF last year. I had to supply pictures as well. I just emailed in some cellphone pics, and within an hour I had a "proof of insurance" slip emailed back, printed, and I was out on the bike.
I found the same thing when I bought a stand for my 99 CBR600F4. I ended up sticking a deep socket over one of the pins. Sorry, I don't remember the size I used, and I can't read it right now as it's holding up the bike. (Front wheel is currently off).
I was able to find one that was both...
I'm not sure how much this will apply to you because it was a long time ago (about 15 years). I had on old, POS car that I got into an accident with. 100% the other driver's fault, and my car was a write-off. I was with State Farm, and don't remember what the actual $$ numbers were. However...
I'm pretty much with everyone else on this. Sounds like something I'd enjoy. Depending on which way you were heading, geography might be an issue for me sometimes as well.
I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread though, and hope to see you next season. (This is going to be a long winter..)
Well, thanks for the ride you DID take me on! (It was my first/only group ride and I had a BLAST!)
I can relate to how addictive the track can be (from my car days). Have fun, and hopefully I'll see you somewhere again.
I'm out for any rides this weekend (going to a cottage for the week)...
Yeah, their website doesn't give you much info. The bikes are mostly YZ 125s (with a few Honda equivalents thrown in). After spending the weekend on one, I wanted to buy one just to boot around on.
I don't know if I'm just old, out of shape, or both, but be prepared to be fairly sore at the...
I did it there this past April.
Had a great time, and learned some stuff too. ;). The instructors were very good, and kept a generally light, friendly atmosphere for the entire weekend.
Wish I didn't have to bail early on you guys (stupid work!) but I just wanted to say I had a BLAST! It was great meeting everyone, and riding down some GREAT roads.
Next time, I'll have to stay for the entire ride.
Thanks again!
This sounds like exactly what I'm looking for right now. I'm still a bit of a noob, so this pace, etc would be great for me. I'm basically just replying to subscribe to the thread to keep an eye on it, but thought I should type more than "subscribe". ;)
Noticed some signs posted up around the area stating that Ridge Rd. West will be closed at 40 creek bridge from July 9th - Aug. 31st.
Nothing a slight detour won't fix, but thought it might be worth mentioning.
Looks like the rider is pretty much OK. Banged up his elbow pretty good, but otherwise not too bad off. Unfortunately, it looks like this was a case of someone borrowing a friend's bike, and trying something they shouldn't have. Be careful who you let ride your bike.
I bought my first bike in Dec. 2011. Wrote my M1 in February, 2012. The weather was so nice in March that I HAD to take it out a few times. Went for my MSF course/got my M2 in April. Now, I'm out on it every chance I can get. You're going to LOVE it.
