I could've used one at Allens, during my first race, but that was more down to brain-fade than the 250 :rolleyes: I guess if you already had a steering damper fitted you could probably remove it relatively easily, if you were entering a race category where they weren't allowed ? ...... But yeah...

Yep, doubleapex makes a couple of solid points .... I was sure I'd only ever do trackdays, I was NEVER going to race ..... One race weekend and I was hooked! :-) I also benefitted from the mentoring program too, thanks to Dave and Aaron.

Yep: So far we have Supernam, fiddleguy, STR and Mikeyboy, in this thread alone. Good idea. The more interest RACE see in the class, the better :-)

That's understandable, it's a big commitment and you have stuff to sort out. Put it this way buddy; if a few of us (4 so far) flip an email to RACE, you guys can contact RACE at a later date if and when you're ready. At least we can give RACE the heads-up and hopefully get something organized...
