Yeah, got caught. Was visiting a client 2 kliks form my shop, saw the sky darken, said gotta go. Didn't get halfway before it dumped. This was near Laird & Eglinton.

I think mine's been shortened 4 or 5 times in the last 2 years, the cable not the sheath. Probably has something to do with the cables being 50 years old and snapping just short of the nipple. Soldering the nipple back on is not a big deal. I use a soldering gun, not an iron or BBQ. As above...

Suggest you call them first and ensure they have it in stock. On the other hand, I did that with the Markham branch, drove out there, and had to go to the Scarborough branch because Markham didn't have what they thought they had in stock. :confused1:

I have a bag of stainless button head socket M8x25 sitting on the bench, but that's not much good to you in Ottawa. Got them from Brafasco who have 2 outlets in Ottawa. One will probably cost less than $2.

Suit's from '93, bought for weddings & funerals. I don't have much need for a suit other than that. Last time it was out was a funeral in Sept '07. This time was a wedding and only a 3 km backstreet ride.
