I'm in the middle of doing a restore and used these guys for both hard anodizing inside the fork legs and also for decorative/corrosion resistance anodizing on a bunch of billet parts including a head.

They were recommended by a few folks on this board. Great quality...
Dude. Give your head a shake. Taking a few hundred votes from already disenfranchised voters undermined the entire Canadian political system? You honestly believe that he mislead people with his manifesto to heat up Canada's Arctic to turn it into a tropical playground and people actually...
I would imagine it does. If a small business owner did that the political parties and civil servants would be lining up to pillory him and ride as far as they can on his back. Hypocrisy at its finest :)
The beauty about Canada is that absolutely anyone can run for office. My wife ran as an independent when we lived in Vancouver on a ticket against construction in Hadden park. She was 4th but sometimes you don't need to win. Eby then brought it to the Legislature and halted it.
I applaud her...
Ha Ha... Wasn't it Churchill who said that "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter"
It literally is a mess. I work with an Old Hippy from Santa Cruz and he said he would prefer Nixon that Trump or Clinton. I almost fell out of my chair :)
Trump...
Looking for somewhere in the GTA that sells this.
i know it's not the most accurate.
Im rebuilding a small Honda. It didn't have a cam shaft when I bought it and I got one from eBay in Japan.
I need to measure the clearance but the journals are to small to get my bore dial guage in there...
Went for a test drive at the weekend on a standard Multistrada.
First, it really is a very nice bike. Size and ergos wise it felt quite like the GS.
The motor is completely different though. I always thought part of the charm of the GS was the fact that it feels like a giant dirt bike, with...
Thanks for the replies everyone. Going for a test ride at the weekend.
A few posts on ADV rider said it was quite a different experience from the BMW. The motor is less like a big dirt bike and more liked a more refined tourer. Can't wait :)
I currently have a 2013 BMW R1200 with just over 180k on it. It’s been as far south as Costa Rica and as far north as Alaska. It’s been rock solid and even the final drive - normally the weak point - has not been replaced.
I’m probably going to change it in 2017 but a new one is such a...
Yes and No. It is actual "Cap and Trade" it hammers polluters and allows green companies to trade credits so it actually encourages greenness while it punishes the bad people. I lived in BC for a long time and just came back.
Wynne on the other hand just has her hand in everyone's pockets...
It depends where they set up Shop, my company just moved me back from Vancouver.
If your talking about Vancouver proper, East Burnaby or Richmond Housing prices are nuts at the moment but you are not going to set up a manufacturing plant there. Most new companies are setting up shop into...
So hopefully this is the right place to post this
My wife has a Mazda 3 with leather seats and the drivers seat has torn along the seam for about 2 inches. Is there a local company that does automotive leather repair that anyone can recommend?
Brian Sullivan Leather was/is a custom automotive...
I wouldn't read too much into that. I work for Cisco and we have hundreds of patent law suits going on at any given time. We did around 50 billion last year and a large percentage of that was from patent royalties.
Blackberry would be mad to allow competition to use their inventions for free...
We were given S7's at work and I'm not that impressed. Seems very buggy.
The on/off button keeps disabling its self and the only way to re-enable it is to connect it to a PC and boot it in safe mode. Tried re-osing it but nothing seems to help. Rogers replaced it in case it was a hardware...
I rode one with the DCT. I did like it.
I have a r1200gs as 80% of my riding is on road. If I did more off road this and the f800gsa would be top of the list.
I do think the F800 motor needs a revamp. It's noticeably lagging in the power department now
+1. Globally it's a hot segment and the ninja 300 is currently the best seller. As someone else mentioned above It also fits into the A2 licensing class in Europe. If you have to spend 2 years on a small bike why not this? It's hell of a lot nicer that the old single
This is is the market Honda...
I just had a frame, swingarm, wheels and a bunch of misc. bits and pieces done and I
had a hell of a time finding someone that would even get back to me. Ended up going with Brightside Coatings based on recommendations. They are in Scarborough. I'm wondering if it was something to do with the...
Great suggestion. I got one from my local Crappy Tire. I didn't want to drive all the way into Toronto.
The battery is reading around 10v with no load and between 4 and 5 volts when a load is applied. I guess its pooched
