    Riding Advice

Sorry. Can't recommend any specific place for online purchase. I got mine made several years ago by Rhonda Martin at Hear for Life in Toronto (1573 Danforth Ave.). She deals with a lot of sound industry professionals and is pretty well known in the music industry. Really nice lady. If you are...

    Riding Advice

I found that wearing earplugs really helped reduce my perception of speed, and therefore, made it less intense/scary when i started going faster. I find it much easier to concentrate when the wind noise isn't rattling my eardrums. If you are concerned about not being able to hear traffic (horns...

    Orangeville/Shelburne/Mono members

We are in Mono- been here 5+ years. Love living up here...Quiet at night. Generally really nice people. Great roads to ride. Fall colours are awesome. I think you'll really like it. 1) The snow hasn't been bad for us at all for the last few years. Gets a worse rep than it deserves in my opinion...

Brampton? Where to live or not to live

I grew up there (F-section townhouses- NOT a nice area). Rob's suggestion of avoiding walking distance the the City Center is 100% true. i still have family/friends who i visit regularly. Mum is in Springdale (Torbram/Bovaird area)- she has nice neighbours, but there is an issue with crime and...

    Laid-off? GTAM Members looking-out.....???

Great thread. I work for a large video game company and we are always looking for programmers, animators and 3d artists (experience preferred*** and NO- playing 1000s of hrs of GTA, COD or WOW doesn`t count as experience- haha). If interested, you can PM me for more info.

Fire Department bills me for nothing

Do the FD charge the family if someone dies? That would be really, really horrible.

Public Enemy at Sound Academy last night?

AND... Though not quite in the same league as the legendary P.E. or GZA (but still likely to be pretty entertaining)- Onyx will be at the Rockpile on Monday Sept 24th (5555A Dundas St West). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ADgCeYJMN4 i haven't been to the Rockpile yet (i think the old owner of...

Public Enemy at Sound Academy last night?

Doubt they've planned anything for a return yet- but whenever it is i'll likely be there for sure. I totally agree that they are the BEST hh group ever! Another classic coming to T.O soon... GZA/Genius (of WuTang Clan fame) will be at Sound Academy on Sat Sept 15th playing the whole 1995 album...

Public Enemy at Sound Academy last night?

Anyone else go? They were amazing...couldn't believe how much energy they had on stage (they are in their 50's!). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VeL2R0G1jU&list=UUOsDQi2l84IMNXIIPSPNp9A& index=1&feature=plcp Seriously...I've seen a LOT of shows over the years, but this was easily one of the...

Airport Road- North of Hockley- loose sand

The repaving only extends for a few hundred meters. Good news though. Wife told me the street cleaners were on the case when she was coming home from work. i rode past there later tonight and it appears they have washed the road and got rid of the crud. Nice!

Airport Road- North of Hockley- loose sand

There was a thin layer of sand and gravel over the road last night. They've been doing some re-paving over the last few weeks- so be careful if you are heading this way or driving home. Particularly hard to assess the danger when heading south at night (doing 80kph+) over the hills. Hoping it...
