    Fz6 owners - opinion wanted

I kinda hafta ask though - your son had an FZ8, right? Any reason you're not considering a Fazer 8? Unless it's just that there's not that many of them

MoTow - The Ultimate Motorcycle Tow Hitch?

For the trouble we're going through here, I would gladly pull the chain off the sprocket and zip-tie it to the swingarm or something

MoTow - The Ultimate Motorcycle Tow Hitch?

First reaction: I hate everything about this I guess it's 1/3 the price of the currently cheapest available Stinger trailer? You could "build" a motorcycle trailer by buying a folding 4x8, plywood, a chock, and a ramp and still have money leftover though... or at the very least, the same money...

    Fz6 owners - opinion wanted

Undertail looks cool but comes with disadvantages. Higher risk of burning yourself, harder to use soft luggage, a warmer seat (sometimes an advantage)

It is a 2007+ model, so that has the improved brakes, EFI, and other stuff

    Sturgis 2024 - politics intervenes...

When I first heard about this Robby Starbuck-manufactured controversy, I was really hoping people would start immolating their hogs ala the Colin Kaepernick / Nike kerfuffle. It's definitely a normal and rational thing to do that'll really hurt H-D where it counts

    Used car sanity check

I did finally get it back for real yesterday. I was scheduled to pick it up @ 1:00PM, ended up departing 7:15PM ish... but it does run and drive MUCH better, enough that I don't feel sick about it anymore. It is NOT perfect but I didn't buy a perfect car. I will make another post soon...

Route suggestions GTA to Blue Ridge Parkway

US Route 219 used to be the way to go, starting near Buffalo. You can join Route 250 in Huttonsville and that would take you directly to the north end of the BRP. My experience is a little dated though

    Used car sanity check

It is supposed to be a daily driver. I can bum vehicles without issue. I kinda have to be patient. As frustrating as this is, as long as they keep appearing to work on it in good faith, what can I do? I feel like complaining will just get them to go hands off, and then I'll have to go through...

    Used car sanity check

Update: Clutch has been replaced, they said it's been driving great, but they wanted to additionally replace an O2 sensor and repair an unspecified A/C issue. I consented to that two weeks ago, I had the option of picking it up and bringing up back for when they could schedule service but it's...

**Help Needed: Identifying This Screw Head!**

When you put on your rubber, what do you do with your nuts?

I like it when people find actual answers to questions like these. I want this guy to do a video on pre-filling oil filters

    SIM Swapping

To a limited extent. As I understand it, Incogni helps limit your exposure to data breaches by basically asking websites to purge data on you that they no longer need. It doesn't do anything for data that has already been stolen, and it does require that the websites are cooperative. You can...

    SIM Swapping

Pretty much everyone at this point has a footprint of leaked/stolen data. If they're able to tie your email address (very often used as a login) to a name, they can figure out your phone number with a little homework. As recent as a year ago, there was a website selling scraped/stolen contact...

    SIM Swapping

Basically, you can't - it is entirely out of your hands. What you CAN do, is be very aware of accounts you have that use SMS(text messages) for SFA/2FA (Single Factor Authentication vs 2 Factor Authentication). SMS SFA is extremely cursed but there are websites/services that use it, or offer it...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Very curious about what the story is here. I don't understand where the truck could have been coming from https://www.cp24.com/news/u-haul-truck-crashes-into-rexdale-home-2-people-injured-police-1.6986748

    Safety Certification

At-home safeties are technically illegal. There have been mechanics in the past that have been willing to do them (I have had this done before, years ago), but mechanics have also gotten in trouble for this. You can get a temporary, two week license plate permit that will allow you to ride it...
