Forks of the Credit This Sunday?

Do you have any routes you'd like to share? I don't have any experience riding in that area.

Choosing black paint - assistance please?

BMW's "Schwarz 2" is great. It's nice and deep without the metallic finish. It was the "non-premium" black, back when I got mine. Not sure if it's still around. Might be worth a look.

What is a reasonable amount of time between new bike purchase and pick up?

Not debating that(although I know a few that would) - I'm just explaining that it is, in fact, legal to start payments on a vehicle you haven't yet picked up. It sounds like this dealer is as slimy as they come, and I hope they get what's coming to them, but if the OP did sign all the "delivery...

What is a reasonable amount of time between new bike purchase and pick up?

This may not be a bad idea, although it's perfectly legal to start payments on a vehicle not yet in his possession, if he completed the necessary paperwork. Example: Customer gets a great deal on a sports car in December, wants to secure the manufacturer rebates but doesn't want to drive it off...

What is a reasonable amount of time between new bike purchase and pick up?

You can do what's called a "Paper Delivery" where basically you sign everything as if you've picked up the new vehicle. We do it all the time(car dealership) especially at month end, mainly to secure the monthly programs from the manufacturer or for price protection. Of course, we only do this...

What is a reasonable amount of time between new bike purchase and pick up?

The financing documents are pretty long and detailed, too. It's something you'd deff remember.

What is a reasonable amount of time between new bike purchase and pick up?

Legally, you'd have to sign the financing documents, with the proper VIN listed, before financing can start. Do you remember doing this?

I found a Bike shop in Richmond Hill now that Z1 has moved

Nice! I had an '85 as my first bike. Everything was great, except the intermittent starting gear problems these can have. Never let me stranded, though. Looking forward to seeing this completed, don't see many Virgo cafe racers.

What is a reasonable amount of time between new bike purchase and pick up?

This. Unless of course you did what's called a "Paper Delivery". Is there an actual VIN number on your contract? When did you sign the financing Documents? Who are you financing through?

Forks of the Credit This Sunday?

Sounds good. I was thinking around noon, most likely. I was thinking this rain would be good for washing crap off the road but they're calling for ~1cm of snow overnight. If they freshly salt the road I'm inclined to just say forget it. I have a buddy that lives minutes from there, he's going...
