All of the above. It's my daily ride unless it's raining bad, and I also like to take extended rides when I have the time. Hoping to make it out to Nova Scotia sometime this summer. (I don't mind long rides without a fairing/windscreen)

Haha it's the right amount of bike, just too much damn plastic :p And I almost pulled the trigger on a Magna last fall, great bikes, but in that case I might as well stick with what I've got(the inverted front forks keep it pretty nimble). I'm looking to try something more agile than a cruiser...

I have heard the argument that an abrupt, loud, crack of the throttle can startle other drivers and cause them to break attention for that split second, putting you in possible danger. I still find my Vance and Hines Cruzers give me a (false?) sense of security, especially when I have to enter...

No doubt it would be a great bike, but I have no shame in admitting styling is important to me on this one. Not a big fan of the "boy racer" look that goes along with full fairing sport bikes, much prefer more of a timeless look :thumbup:

Right now I'm just looking for a bike to buy and ride, minimal wrenching. I may be looking into a custom build over the winter, we'll see.

B-King is interesting, never heard of it before - I'll have to read up on that. VMax is out. The whole reason I'm looking at switching is for more sporting handling. Also, the insurance on a VMax is prohibitive.

Yeah, for sure. Raw power isn't all that important to me. The size of the bike is, though. ex. I've been on a ZX6R & Monster 600 - both were too small for my liking. I don't want the bike to look/feel tiny, like below:

Gauntlet gloves, riding boots, helmet. Jacket if it's not too warm, or if I'm going on a hwy trip.
